Easy to mount, works well
I used this to hold a second water bottle for a century ride. I was able to mount it easily on my seat tube and it did a great job.You can set the tightness very precisely, so that it won’t budge, but isn’t squeezing your tube too tightly. Still, I would not suggest leaving this permanently on the bike - eventually it might damage the paint job or bend the tube. But for a temporary extra cage holder, this product worked perfectly.

Instructions Please
I lucked out and this fit right on my main tube as adjusted from the factory but a few instructions how to mount and adjust it would be helpful . Works great I had no room due to having a large battery in my triangle for a water bottle . I mounted a quality topeak one with this and love it . I pray the strap doesn't stretch because for the life of me I cannot figure out how you adjust it . It has to be simple . Germany has such good bicycle parts . At least both my bikes were assembled in the USA but rarely if ever do you find all USA parts in any items . This is the adapter to buy I wish they made a bar extender with this set up and some clear instructions . I use the topeak and it is good but I hate metal to metal on my bike . That is why I bought this cage adapter and the topeak adjustable cage that fits plastic water bottles sold in stores all the way to small thermos's . God Bless . Ride safe and wear a helmet and gloves at all times because it is better safe then sorry .

Wonderful product, very sturdy
Wonderful product, very sturdy. However, I am no longer using them because they are too big, stand too proud of the frame, and make carrying more than one bottle difficult. I have instead used two pipe clamps to do the job. That being said, I will find a new purpose for this, it's nice. I may use it for my mountain bike, since I don't always carry a bottle on it, but I do like the option when I need one. Also, I till make a nice way to hold other objects (thinking cue sheet) in odd places and can easily be removed.

Worked on my eBike
For the life of me I couldn't find a good place for a bottle cage on my new eBike. These worked great. They're out of the way of controls and legs.I would recommend using metal cages that you can slightly loosen up or somewhat flimsy plastic cages. The hinge seems like it will be the first thing to fail, if it does. Honestly, I wouldn't use these for hardcore trail riding. Road or bike path, these will be great.I put a small bungee cord around the latch because putting two on the stem left little room for the strap. The latch was struggling to stay latched. A single holder worked flawless, the second made me install the bungee.

Poor quality
Read other reviews of poor quality, the locking mechanism is not secure, other buyers using nylon straps. It is not a fit all application, very limited stem diameters and pivot may not accommodate water bottles . Screws easily strip and poor installation instructions.

Great Functionality at a Good Price
This absolutely did the trick for when I needed extra hydration on a longer or warmer ride; but, wanted to quickly remove it for when it wasn't required. Installation is to simply wrap the strap around the seat post, engage it and snap into place. Removal is just a simple flick to disengage. The angle of the bottle is also an easy adjustment by just pressing a button (the orange cover on the hinge) and twisting to the desired setting. The only concern would be that it could easily and unintentionally disengage; however, it didn't happen during a full season of riding.

Strap too short for my eBike
I have a Fifield Bonfire 500 eBike and the battery is where I usually mount water bottle holders on my non-e-Bikes. I wanted to mount it on my handlebar stem, but my stem is too fat for the strap. Fortunately for my wife, it fits on her eBike (Fifield Seaside). I'm back to the drawing board for a water bottle mount for my bike.

A very adaptive adapter
I love it and no regret of buying it. It fits to different bike and it is very easy and fast to install. No tool needed. Don't park your bike with it. I believe it will be gone in a second. I will take it with me. Once it is clipped on, it holds very good. The only bad thing is I bought it before discount, but still very happy with it. I recommend to everyone.
