Easy to install drive and eyecatching looks
Really like this device, it's easy to install the drive by simply clicking the button on one end and sliding the inside from the case, there is a heat shield and thermal sticky pad you apply to the drive the plug it into the socket a secure it with rubber bungs. It then slides back into the body and locks in. The outer case is aluminium and designed like a heat sink so this thing should run cool, the case is quite thick and though I'm not going to try it I think you could easily stand on it without doing any damage so it will take the knocks. Comes with a a USB-C cable that has a USB-A adaptor tethered to the end should you need it. I like the simplicity of the design and it's an unusual shape due to being for M.2 format not the usual boring 3.5" drive type. Handy if you're stripping a broken laptop or whatever and can repurpose the drive into something useful

Nice piece of tech - create your own external SSD hard drive
✅ As described and as advertised.✅ Well packaged and presented and this would make a nice gift for techie friend/family member - even more so if you're also buying them the SSD asset to go inside.✅ Tool-less which is good - but we actually prefer screws - but we do have plenty of tech tool kits lying around so suits us either way.✅ Great option if you have a spare M.2 SSD knocking around or perhaps you don't want to spoil a warranty or don't have the confidence to install into existing laptop etc. This is the next best option. Create an external drive using the SSD.✅ Quick, simple and effective as high portable and depending on the quality of the SSD excellent read/write speeds.✅ Good heat synch - no issues here.✅ Well made with good overall quality control.✅ Good seller details on compatibility - make sure you check if you SSD fits and is supported. No issues - nice bit of tech - no complaints - price is ok but we have seen cheaper.

Looks good, feels good, works well
Really nice enclosure, no tools needed which is fantastic. It has a good quality aluminium outer shell that feels like it could stand up to some beating. Nice and compact, this will make for the ideal portable drive with a good quality drive in it. Comes with a USB-C cable and an adapter for USB-A. Feels like it's definitely worth the money.

Simple and solid
On opening the packaging, my first thought was it seemed pricey for what it is, especially considering the cost of an SSD nowadays. But then if you value your data, surely it's worth investing in something solid to protect it and here the Orico fits the bill.Once the drive is fitted, in the most simple of ways, it is well protected. I stood on this (before I fitted the drive!) and it survived. My archaic USB Samsung mechanical drive is now replaced by something a quarter of the size and probably >40 times faster. Happy days! Two reasons for dropping a * are 1. I'm not a fan of the cable supplied. The method of giving a USB A plug means it gets in the way when using it as a C type. I will be replacing it (probably just with a C) and 2. It's slightly overpriced.

Well made.
Once I realised that you push the little switch in - but push from the opposite end, ie the USB socket side all was good. This is a well made M.2 NVMe drive enclosure, that leverages the compact M.2 drive size into something around the thickness of a two or three pens side by side.So very pocketable. The case is really robust, quite surprisingly so.Packaging is pretty good from a view of gifting. In the box is a brief instruction leaflet outlining how to mount the drive into the caddy, and there is a USB C to C cable with an attached USB C to A adaptor, meaning you can connect the device directly to a USB 3.2 port C port or A port as you require. This too is good quality with alloy bodied connectors. What you don't get is the M.2 NVMe drive, that's something you will need buy separately or have to hand - but the description indicates you can have up to 4TB drive installed.I think this is both a well designed and well made drive enclosure.

Great for on the go
This is a great up grade from using standard SSD’s much quick read and write speed and great for storing games on to then play around a friends house instead of having to download them again. Works on Xbox games but not Xbox series x/s

Easy to install compact NVMe ssd case
A nicely designed enclosure, very easy to access without using any tools to install the memory card and it worked as expected. The case is very small and light, so easy to carry or keep stored. The cable is a bit short though, probably fine for laptop use but not so good for use with a desktop, longer would be better. This is a neat and simple solution for an external M.2 drive enclosure.
