If you’re thinking about buying it, do it! I easily installed the bulb in my floor lamp to create a relaxing movie vibe and it definitely set the tone! The light quality is great, in every color! The remote is easy to use and is compatible and easily connects with the bulb once installed. The remote allows you to also set the color to change in flash, fading, smooth transition, and strobe.

Love this bulb! This is the second one that we have had. The first one my dog ate the remote so we had to purchase a second one which I was so willing to do since I loved the bulb so much. I put it into my bedside table lamp and no longer have to reach to turn off the light because there is a remote!! The bulb can change colors, dim and bright and of course go on and off. The downside is that my dog ate the remote AGAIN so I am back to square one. Maybe I'll either see if the vendor sells the remotes in bulk or wait until my puppy no longer has a penchant for electronics. Either way, I recommend this product - You're gonna love it!

Light works, remote works but not a far range, maybe 5-7 feet. No set up. The colors are cool l, I like having a different color room sometimes but it’s not bright but it’s led so I think it will last a while but for right now, I’m satisfied

Bought this bulb to illuminate and create a mood for my Smoky Mountain Troll collection. Love how I can highlight them with either the white light, or create a specific mood by using a choice of different colors.

These bulbs are gorgeous when lit, however mine have not lasted 2 months and stopped lighting. They go on and off intermittently before they stop working. Has anyone had these that last one year? Love them but the short life is awful. If you found a brand that last please comment what brand, thank you. Purchased for Christmas and it is now 2-14-25 one don't work anymore and one is going out, used maybe a dozen times. Love the concept and would buy another if I can find a brand that delivers at least one year of use.

Inexpensive color-changing LED bulbs come and go, and many don't work with controllers from other brands. This eventually leads to an annoying situation in which, e.g., you point a controller at a bulb and hit the "red" button and the bulb goes bright blue or starts flashing through all the colors. Given how long LED lights last, this is going to become an increasingly annoying problem; it is already happening in our house. The controllers that come with these bulbs seem to work with most of the other bulbs in our house, from at least three different purchases over the past years. (For reference, they have "Magic Lighting" written on them, though I'm not sure that is only written on this kind of controller.) So, after our "trial purchase" of one bulb of each of several brands, we bought a four-pack of these YKNAWOIR, and were happy to find that we got four controllers, so I just purchased another four-pack. The one limitation of these bulbs is that, according to the Amazon info, they're under 500 lumens, even though they say "60W equivalent". I went to the GE light bulb web site, and found various 60W incandescent bulbs that gave between 550 and 825 lumens; so, clearly "60W equivalent" is not a particularly meaningful term; bulb makers slap it on lots of bulbs that are under 500 lumens. If you care about brightness, you need to look for lumens when you shop. We use these mostly to move through the amber-to-red colors in our nightstand lights, in the hour before going to sleep. We usually want 100-200 lumens per bulb at that time, so these are more than bright enough for that (if we set them to full brightness amber at night, they are way too bright). We get totally different bulbs for our overhead lights, since they have a dimmer switch on the wall, so we wouldn't expect these bulbs to work anyway.
