works great when I was swimming a lot

Our 10 year old swimmer had been breaking out in hives due to sensitivity to the chlorine. As a kiddo on a swim team, it's inevitable as practice is 4 nights a week. We decided to find alternatives instead of quitting the team because of his level of interest in the sport. This has been a great alternative. He doesn't stink like chlorine after practice unless he takes his cap off right before getting out of the pool. The chlorine smell used to be so strong, that my eyes would burn on the car ride home, never mind his skin outbreaks. I have recommended this product to other swim team families.

I have purchased this product for the past few years and have been very happy with it, often recommending it to others at my pool. However, with the most recent bottle I purchased (5/2021), there was a noticeable change--it had a different or stronger scent to it. Having sensitivity to fragrances, the stronger scent made me feel nauseous and I ended up having to wash it off later in the day. All previous bottles that I purchased did not have this strong of a scent to them. I was happy with previous product because it (1) had vitamin c, which seemed was effective for after-swim, and (2) it was specifically not a strongly-fragranced lotion. Now, I am unsure if I can continue using the product or recommending it to others who are also looking for such a lotion. I hope it can return to a less-scented (perhaps w/natural essential oils vs. fragrance oil) or even an unscented product. Update 6/8/21: Contacted Solpri to express my disappointment about the change in fragrance/scent. They offered good customer service and were considerate of my concerns. I also understand that some people want fragrance and others do not. If others are interested in a less-scented or unscented product, I encourage you to contact Solpri and share that feedback as well.

This put an end to my summer pool and outdoor misery itch rash that would itch so intensely and the rash was horrible . Just spent a week in mexico put it on before going in pool so itching no rash! I was diagnosed with grommets disease and haven’t had a flare up at all! love that it’s not greasy, excellent skin protection , natural ingredients and leaves my skin soft

I swim 3-4 times weekly, and this lotion is the most nourishing for my skin. After showering and removing the chlorine from my body, I applied this product, which felt so good. It also makes my skin feel well-hydrated, and the warm citrus scent is slight and pleasant. I do not enjoy strong fragrances, so the lovely smell is impressive. I have repurchased this product and will continue to do so.

First, I use the Solpri shampoo/body wash. Then, after my shower while my skin is still damp, I use the lotion. It is a bit thicker than other lotions but still easy to spread around and rub in. The scent is pleasant and not overbearing. I've found that using the lotion while my skin is still damp helps to retain the moisture, rather than rubbing on dry skin. No more chlorine smell and I use twice a day for a couple days after swimming. My skin is still a little itchy but I do take a medication that causes overly dry skin. This lotion has definitely decreased the itch though compare to not using it. Will purchase again when needed.
