Really like this axe. Feels nice and solid in your head. Have not actually used it yet but I am pleased with this purchase. Really nice leather cover for the blade.

Gave this to my husband for Christmas. He loved it. He was impressed with the craftsmanship. It is very well made.

Update: The customer service is amazing! They reached out and replaced the hand ax, and the new one is great. I cannot wait to use it my next camping trip. The blade is not in line with the handle (offset/crooked) and it has multiple chips in the cutting edge. Other than that it feels like a sturdy hand ax and seemed very sharp. Just not comfortable using it with how out of line the axe blade is to the handle, I feel like its a good way to get hurt by a mis-strike.

Pros: Cool handmade look and feel; sharp from the factory; GREAT full grain leather sheath; Beechwood handle seems durable and attractive Cons: HEAVY; handle way too thick even for my blacksmith hands (spent hours sanding it down to a custom fit)
