Beautifully designed, needs a tweak
These are beautifully crafted and sound excellent. For my interface, the iRig Pro Duo, I needed just this extender to mount my iPhone up on a stand for video recordings in the studio. The braided cable is flexible and has a pro feel to it. I chose it because it has the multi-function feature that allows me to answer calls coming through the phone over the studio monitors (worked perfectly!). But on the second day, my phone slid off a low table onto a well-padded deep plush carpet and the lightning connector separated from the cable. This is a common occurrence and no other connector has ever bent or broken. Being the wiser and having looked at all alternatives, I have ordered another because I think there is an easy tweak. I'll reinforce the lightning insert with just a couple of tiny dabs of high grade epoxy at the base. (The vendor is well aware of this issue and might refer this to &D to reinforce the juncture in this way.) But again, I've ordered a second--I'm that impressed with the product.

Well Designed And Manufactured Cable - Update
Look for my review of another manufacturer’s Lightning to Lightning Extension Cable. The differences are striking!I have only used this cable for a few days, but I can tell that this cable is far superior in resisting cable-cover damage/cracking at the male end when the cable is oriented at right angles to an iPhone when compared to the other reviewed cable. This cable employs a braided cover — a distinct plus.Resist the temptation to buy the other, slightly cheaper cable. This one appears to be able to be longer lasting.Update.The cable cover on this lightning cable is superior to any other cable I have seen. As the cable extends from the bottom of an iPhone, the "armored" cover prevents separation of the cover at the end of the male plug as it exits the plug, especially when used in a right angle configuration. However, as I have used it over six months, and almost exclusively used it in that right angle configuration, I have noticed that the internal wires that are very small, and appropriately so, will break. That is not a fault of the cable. It was intended to be used in the straight-on configuration without the constant flexing I caused it to experience. To avoid the breakage of the internal wires when used in a right angle configuration, I recommend using a 90° adapter at the iPhone base plug so that there is no resultant stress on the cable. This right angle adapter can be found on Amazon's website. This is an excellent cable so long as you do not expect it to tolerate too much flexing when used in a right angle configuration. Using it that fashion, after six months, the internal wires will likely break.I highly recommend this cable when used carefully given the constraints I have delineated. This manufacturer makes cables different lengths. My comment supply to all such lengths.

YES! Works for extending the iOS cable on Reloop DJ controllers!
[TL;DR- For owners of Reloop DJ gear such as the Beatpad, Mixon, or Mixtour looking for a suitable extension for the device’s included iOS cable, this does exactly what you need! I recommend purchasing this asap!]I bought these because I own a Reloop Beatpad 2 DJ controller, which comes with a lightning to 8 pin mini DIN cable that is required in order to use the controller with an iPhone or iPad. The included cable is also notoriously too short, making it impossible to set up your device in more than one position(if you own one you know what I mean and how frustrating this is). The only way to get a longer version of that very specific cable is to buy it from Reloop or one of a very few select distributors, but it costs around $80, which is 1/10 of the price of buying a whole new controller(current retail around $800).While there is still no other way to get a replacement for that cable, should yours fail or get lost, that’s a completely different story. However, I’m happy to report that THIS cable works PERFECTLY for extending the OEM Reloop cable, letting you position your iPhone/iPad in any way you need to to use with the controller, IE on a stand, or in portrait mode instead of landscape, mounted to your desk, etc. Plus, the juncture where the Reloop cable connects to the extension is very tight and secure feeling, so you can adjust the positioning of your device without worrying about the cables disconnecting. I’m considering applying some heat shrink tubing to mine at that juncture to make the connection more permanent, but I want to test the longevity of the extender first before I commit. Fortunately, this is a 2 pack, which I didn’t even notice until I received the order, so if one ever goes out I’ve got a backup!SIDE NOTE: I’ve heard that some aftermarket lightning female connectors only have contacts on one side, so if you try these and they don’t seem to work, try disconnecting the middle juncture and flipping the female plug end over before giving up. For me it worked on the first try and I didn’t test it the other way yet, so maybe I got lucky, but it’s something to be aware of.Opens up so many configurations for your DJ/music gear, or any other iOS peripherals that rely on a lightning connector for sending and receiving audio/MIDI/data/power simultaneously!
