Not for left-handers. I thought they would be symmetrical, but when you put it on your left pointer finger, it angles the pencil down into your palm instead of up over your thumb. It's fine for me if I just twist it a little, but then I already know how to hold a pencil. My lefty 5-year-old rejected it. Otherwise, it seems well-made, and we liked the colors.

I got these for my son because he has difficulty holding his pencil correctly. These are exactly like the ones he uses at school. He has used them for several months and they have held up very well. I do wish they had a boy color pack and a girl color pack. Other than that, I have no complaints.

My son has struggled to hold his pencil the correct way since Preschool. He started using these at school last year and I purchased these to have at home. After a few months of continual use, he has finally corrected his grip and no longer needs to use them. It has really helped to improve his handwriting and he doesn't fatigue as quickly.
