This tool is outstanding! I purchased it to remove a broken Allen head screw, it work even better than I had hoped. I went online to find a way that the screw could be removed without damage to an expensive motorcycle part and I found the vamplieries. They are well made and come in several different sizes. I bought two and will give it as a gift. Everyone should have a pair in the toolbox.

Where have they been all my life. I got them a few weeks ago and though I have not had to remove any broken screws with them, I have used them over and over. I thought they were expensive when I bought them, but now that I own a set, I know better. The perfect pliers! And you can take these out into the sunlight too! hehe

Well Made - Grips Any thing! In the top of my tool drawers!

Aviation Maintenance. These pliers work as advertised. The large lineman’s type pliers are good for big hardware and grip very well but do not expect to reuse hardware that these bad boys extract.The short pliers are spring loaded, with a holster to keep them closed. They work well on small to medium headed screws and grip very well.The needle nose pliers quickly became my favorite of the set, making cotter keys and safety wire a breeze while offering a sure grip on small items such as clips or small light bulbs.The grip material could use some small improvements-The handles seem to take the daily abuse of chemicals (hydraulic, lubricant and degreaser type fluids) but stain. The handles do get a little slick when wet in the hand.The handle insulation protrudes about 1/4 to 3/8” from the ends of the pliers depending on the pair and although as of yet have noticed NO SLIPPAGE I do not trust the handles to maintain position under a heavy grip with a linear pull (the motion of pulling a nail out of wood). Twisting however is where these pliers shine! No looseness between the plier halves noticed even after full power turns with no cheater bars or wrenches.These pliers will DAMAGE hardware and components if not careful because of the serrations of the teeth so think before you squeeze!Am constantly loaning these to other mechanics and typically do not hesitate to recommend them.

The pliers are high quality and well made. They are on the small side compared to pliers from other manufacturers (e.g. Craftsman).

I have been using these pliers for a few months and hands down they are one of the best. Specially in getting the worn screws even in very tight spaces.
