Blow Torch - Black (Original Green)

I had call to replace an old kitchen blow torch that was leaking gas, and after a bit of trawling through the many different ones available I settled on this. It was one of the more expensive products, however in operation it's proved to have been a sound investment. It's built well, easy to fill with gas (not supplied) and controllable. The finger guard offers heat protection from the flame, and there's a solid and chunky feel to the torch. A good product.

This is an excellent product. I use it to torch bubbles in resin and it works great. Easy to use and fill.

To be honest I purchased this for using in artwork. I have given it 4stars because when I first got it it felt like a solid piece of kit. It was easy to fill and control and worked exactly as I wanted. I haven’t had a chance to put it through it’s paces yet but when I get back to creating after Christmas I will let you know.

Bought for my 14 year old granddaughter who is mad about baking I myself have had a blowtorch for many years but this one is lovely - Small and Neat but powerful and very well made but also excellent value for money She will love using it I'm sure There will be one happy little girl on Christmas morning ( then maybe I can have mine back

I really like this touch as it is handy and easy to use. As I do alot a baking , this is so perfect for a good lemon meringue and my homemade creme bruler which I made yesterday . It covers all the aspect of handling it. The torch is something I will recommend to my other friend bakers as I am satisfied with the description and the operations . It is safe and light.

Good price and good quality. The torch is really easy to operate and the flames are really powerful. I use it often for bbq. Also it has arrived earlier than expected.

Started well, all functions worked. I have had over 2 months now but if I added up the seconds or minutes of actual use time it would be 3-4 mins. The outcome? It no longer ignites on its own, have to use a lighter and it no longer accepts gas refill = landfill.

I bought this to replace an inferior product for finishing off my steaks when using my Sous Vide stuff or for topping off the creme brûlée for my wife (pregnancy cravings or so she says) Its fantastic wee product, it has a gauge for you to see how much fuel is in the device, and it has a lock that stops it from accidentally being turned on and there is a finger guard incase you get a little too enthusiastic. The starter is very solid, starts every time unlike the one i replaced. Its a great addition to the kitchen and makes finishing off fancy dishes real easy. I will impress my friends and family when this lockdown is over. ********** UPDATE ************ Not as durable as you would like. I tried to refill the unit today but the gas nozzle no longer holds the gas in the product. See the video it spits the gas back out. Was great while it worked... now I have to find another way to seat my leg of lamb.

Great torch. Received yesterday, used immediately (already bought the butane, Bernzomatic from hardware store with universal fill tube). I purchased a torch already (Iwatani Pro2) for creme brulee and the flame on that is huge and doesn't get small enough for the small containers I'm using. This one gets small enough but is still strong. I will say the "ease of use" and safety features took a second to figure out - you can let go of the safety lock while holding the trigger and the flame will stay on, which is nice, not safe though, and the muscle coordination is tricky so I end up having to relight it (but I'll get used to it - or just use it by keeping the trigger pulled as one would normally do).

Purchased this for baking the odd dessert, easy to fill with butane, not supplied, easy to use and adjust flame, and window allows you to see when butane starts to run low. Great product, as advertised. I researched several options and happy with my choice.

Dieser Brenner ist qualitativ ausgezeichnet gefertigt, der Tank ist ausreichnend groß so dass man nicht ständig nachfüllen muss. Liegt gut in der Hand und leistet ausgezeichnete Dienste nicht nur in der Küche, ich zünde damit z.B. auch mal Kohle für die Shisha an. Das Foto zeigt ein Gersterbrot, das wird vor dem Backen abgebrannt, was eine außergewöhnliche Optik und auch einen speziellen Geschmack gibt. Davor hatte ich einen kleineren Brenner, der bei Creme Brulee-Förmchen dabei war - kein Vergleich zu diesem!

Ich habe den Brenner jetzt schon mehrmals in Gebrauch gehabt . Er ist sehr vielseitig einsetzbar . Ein ganzen Blechkuchen zu Karamelisieren ist für den Brenner gar kein Problem . Ich war begeistert . Was sehr angenehm ist , das man beim Karamellisieren keinen Knopf gedrückt halten muß . Auch die absoulute handlichkeit hat mich zu 100% überzeugt . Verbrennen kann man sich Dank der Schutzbügel auch nicht . (Ausser vieleicht Dummis) . Ein kleiner Kritik Punkt wäre vielleicht das das Nachfüllen etwas schwierig ist . Handelsübliche Gas Dosen Passen nicht zu 100 % auf den Adapter . Ansonsten richtig gutes Teil . Für Leute die viel Karamellisiren einfach Super. Viel Spass damit Andre
