After more than 10 years, my shower curtain tension rod finally failed (of course in the middle of the night, when else do they fail?!?). So I need a replacement and this one stood out. First, because the price was reasonable, second because it was easy to put together, third, because the little grippy things on the end were huge and would cover more tile, making sure it stayed where placed. So far, it has done just that, was easy to install where I wanted and hasn’t moved since. My only complaint is that my metal shower curtain rings get caught on the part of the rod where two pieces connect. Not too big of a deal, but enough to notice and be a little annoying.

I needed a curtain rod for the toilet area in my bathroom for a curtain for privacy. I share a bathroom. I wanted the options to close it off for when someone might need to come in & grab something quickly when toilet was being used. That area is 41&1/2 inches. This curtain rod is 43 inches. I thought it would be wobbly because it was almost to it’s max length. It held up well & looks nice & shiny & easy to put together & on the wall. I would buy again not bad on price either.

I bought a very expensive shower curtain rod that began slipping after two years, to the point it would not stay up anymore. I purchased this one (in gold) hoping it would be suitable even though it cost less and seemed less substantial. I was not expecting great results. Well, let me just say this one cost less, is lighter weight, and seems less substantial, but holds SO MUCH BETTER (and we have two fairly heavy sets of shower curtains on it). I am so pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone needing a tension rod that really works! For whatever reason, this one holds up so much better than the $80 rod I had up before. Excellent buy and a good product.
