What's the shelf life on one of these fuel canisters unopened, and how long do they last after they have been half used? Do they leak?

Although it wasn't this brand, I used mine a few times on 4/1998, stored it with my hiking equipment until I used it again and emptied it this weekend, 12/2019. Worked fine.

The cap is always on the cylinder, i want to see it without to see if it looks like a gaz canister?

A lot of people don't pay attention and assume they know what they are talking about. They are self absorbed morons. These won't fit "gaz" attachments. I have a gaz stove and lantern and can't find canisters either. This stove is threaded just like an MSR canister. I would also mention that iso-butane mixes are much better than the straight butane mix. There is a difference.

Will this work on jetboil?

I went camping w a number of guys w jet boil burners who used generic containers like this. I’m not 100% sure it will work, but 95% sure it will.

Why are these 120‰ more than Retail?

Shipping. They are hazardous materials, so it's much more expensive to ship them than to ship non-dangerous items. Buy locally if you can. Any store with a decent selection of camping gear will have similar cylinders. The MSR and Jetboil brands are the most common in the US. If you must have your camping fuel delivered, these are about as good a deal as you will find. These are the small 4 ounce (approximately) cylinders that are designed to fit inside some camp stoves for storage; the larger 8 and 16 ounce cylinders are a better buy per ounce of fuel.

I bought this for a camping trip and it worked well. Love the size and how lightweight it is. Very easy to carry around for camping or backpacking. It was quick and easy to use. Get's very hot so it get's the job done for cooking or making a hot beverage. It is a great portable little stove. Keep in mind this will probably only last you one trip and a short trip at that. I cooked 5 meals using it then it ran out. If you need more than that I would suggest getting a larger size or using a different cooking method.

I bought this for my first solo backpacking trip and it’s a great can of gas. I only wish I would have looked around a bit more because I discovered that this is pretty overpriced for the size. This was the gas that came up recommended for my stove so I didn’t look at any other types so it’s my fault.
