RevolutionRace Men's Campfire Shirt, Durable Flannel Shirt, Great for Fishing, Hiking and Other Outdoor Acitvities

I love RevolutionRace trekking pants, so thought I would try this shirt. They tend to be more of a European fit, so was expecting a trimmer bit of kit. Other Swedish brands fit me like a glove so was hoping for the same (Fjallraven, Norrona, for example).I liked the idea of a tech flannel for hiking and other outdoor activities--lightweight, warm, quick drying.What I received was a size large that was more of a medium with an XL collar attached. Not an athletic fit, just really skinny. The waist area is great but the chest is almost a compression fit, and so are the arms. The collar is quite large (18"+ measurement), but the actual collar looks really strange. I finally figured out that the collar is an Oxford cut (shape is designed as a button-down collar) but to save $'s I presume RR dropped the collar buttons and button hole. So...I stitched down the collar where it would should have buttons, and I have a salvageable compression-fit mid layer. I would size up to XL if the collar weren't so large already.For reference, I'm 6'2", 192 lbs; 42" chest and 35" waist.

First let me state that this company makes excellent quality gear. I own several pairs of pants, and a hooded jacket. The jacket is a bit tight, but also very warm so less layers. So fit is snug, but not tight. On to the Campfire shirt. Normally, a shirt like this in XXXL would be perfect fitting on me with a T-shirt underneath. Comfy and cozy warm. However, RR's sizing has this one fitting like an XXL or even XL. My daughter is now loving it :(

XL is only XL. If you’re from a country with little people. This thing was barely a large by US/Canada standards

A bit small in size, otherwise perfect! So comfy.

Fabric is ok, looks well made enough. But size is 2 sizes small. Ordered xl fits like a shmedium.

Ordered a 2XL to have some room to wear a thermal underneath, couldn’t even get my arms in it. This shirt was at least 2-3 sizes too small even though labeled as a 2XL. Wound up giving it to my youngest son who typically wears a Medium and it was even fitted for him.

I just wanted to comment on the sizing to help clarify. I'm 5'11" with a 200lb body builder frame. Big up top, about a 34 waist. I bought an XL and I love the fit. I just tried it on with a t-shirt under it and it felt good. It was snug in the arms and shoulders but I still had free movement. The waist was probably fine for up to 38 I would think.The material felt great right out the package. I'm hoping it will form fit to me the more I wear it like my other flannel has. The shirt feels super solid but not too thick. I bought a pair of RVRC pants last year for hiking and bushcraft and the like and I got a pretty good chance to abuse them and they still look brand new. I plan to do the same with this.

It is thick，for colder weather， not summer. But it is really soft and comfortable.
