Mixed Chicks Detangling Deep Conditioner - Softens, Moisturizes & Detangles Straight or Curly Hair, 33 fl.oz

I used this conditioner with the companion shampoo. Since I swim for exercise in either a chlorine pool or the lake, especially during the summer, I need to wash my hair almost daily. Hence, my head of short hair becomes dry from the sun and brittle. I also color my greys. This product has been a game changer, allowing me to enjoy my sport without sacrificing the shine in my hair. I wish I had mixed chicks lotion for skincare all over my body! As usual, Amazon delivery was spot on!

I had been searching for the perfect deep conditioner that wasn’t too thick nor too light to make a deep conditioner treatment using Curlyproverbs Amla and Bhringrj masque with a deep conditioner as the base. The mix chick DC wins and it is now forever the one. I perfected the mask on one try using this conditioner, The results was amazing, I was so shocked, blown away, my mouth hit the floor after rinsing the treatment out, no residue, no knots nothing!!! . Now I can use the curly proverbs powders once or twice a week with this conditioner. Even with out the the powders I liked this conditioner, now I’m in love with it!!I 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚 The conditioner is light enough to penetrate my low porosity strands and adding in the powder, a little oil, little honey, and a splash of rose water just gave it more hydration, slip, moisture. Curls were bouncy, very hydrated, defined, light and zero frizz, this was a total game changer compared to the other deep conditioners I have tried. I usually just do a full curly proverbs masks and add in oil, a liquid, honey essentials oils to make my own diy mask but my hair don’t always needs a straight Ayurvedic mask. So I will be adding my powders to this deep conditioner every single wash day. I knew it was something perfect out there. 💚 This deep conditioner pulled up at the Amazon locker on time and did her thang on Nicollet Mall today. 😘

Mixed Chicks products are amazing for my daughters thick curly hair. Her hair is like spirals of high E string guitar strings. So thick and so much of it. We have been trying to find a good line for her hair and this is it. Her hair is more manageable, shiny, and soft. It looks and feels so healthy. She likes the pump better than the smaller tub.

My daughter has very curly hair. Her hair just falls in beautiful brown ringlets since birth. The problem happened to be keeping her hair from frizzing. I worried about using hair gel, with all the alcohol drying up her hair. So I turned to the web and the mommy message boards. I figured there had to be someone else with similar issues. One of the recommendations was Mixed Chicks. This leave in conditioner is fabulous. Once I wash her hair I put in about a quarter size amount and that is it. Her ringlets are shiny, and soft. Not crunchy like with gel. In the am I spritz her hair with a bit of water, put in the product and style. I liked the results so much I started using it on my wavy hair. I normally would blow dry or flat iron it because I didn't like the way it looked naturally. Once I used Mixed Chick-it was a wrap. I havent blown dried my hair in over 6 months. It just keeps my hair from looking frizzy and unkempt. Why 4 stars? Not crazy about the price. However, there is no comparable product out that that I have found.

White girl here, with thin/fine hair that has been lightened and colored. In spite of the price, this is my absolute favorite conditioner for my 3A/3B curls. It all started when I "borrowed" some from a girl I was traveling with (she never did get that scoop back) and immediately noticed how awesome my hair felt, and how nicely it curled up after the shower. I eventually broke down and bought myself one of the smaller tubs at a store, and halfway through the container I knew I'd be needing more. Now I'm about 3/4 through my 33oz bottle, and I'm sure I'll be ordering another one soon. I LOVE this conditioner and recommend it to anyone with any type of curls. I've tried my fair share of hair products, and struggle to find a happy balance between something lightweight that leaves my fine hair too "airy" and prone to frizz/fly-aways and something too "intense" that weighs it down and makes it feel greasy. It's a thick formula but it doesn't feel heavy even with regular use unlike some deep conditioners, and in my opinion it smells better than a lot of them too. I leave it on for a few minutes while I go about my shower business and end up with silky hair every time. It rinses clean, and while there are a lot of factors in achieving that perfect curly look, this conditioner gives me the best start in the right direction. Amazon is the best place to buy in bulk both for price and convenience, at least for myself. You have to try it!

One of the best conditioners I have ever used. One jar lasts me a long time since I do not have to use much of it. I cannot find this often in local stores. Happy I can find it on Amazon!!!
