Great value for thr price point

Very bright. Very Efficient. Easy to install. Lowered electric bill for my store by $100 per month. Also the smooth surface looks very polished for that type of light

I have used Sunco panel lights for both residential and commercial retrofits. For the most part, the panels are very good. However, you should occasionally expect a bad unit. The recent commercial project was 33 replacements and 2 were defective. Also, I think the factory is putting them together too fast because a handful of the units had damage to the wire box, some of the wire boxes had a missing screw, and some of the units had damaged frame corners but the ceiling grid covered those blemishes. As always, many of them had dented back panels due to the metal being so thin, but it did not effect the light.

I purchased 10 of these light panels to install in my wife's stained glass studio. They provide excellent lighting and can be installed very easily with the proper mounts (I purchased separately). A benefit I was not aware of is there are no shadows on the flooring anywhere! These look great! Highly recommend!!

The good: US company. Fast shipping. Good price - similar lights from local suppliers are 50% higher. Fast customer support if you have a problem (and you will have a problem). Understand... when I say "fast" I dont mean "within 24 business hours", I mean "within 10 minutes and usually faster than that" - even on nights and weekends. The bad: Wiring still uses wire nuts rather than the more modern "push in" connections that almost all other companies use. Control switches for the color and wattage are on the side of the light and are blocked by the drop ceiling (suspended ceiling) gridwork. The ugly: Shipping. Just like every other reviewer has commented on. Out of 24 lights ordered total, 22 were damaged in some way. The majority of the damage was minor and did not significantly affect function, but damage is damage. The backs were caved in on EVERY light in the 6 unit per box sets and at least one back was damaged on the 2 unit per box sets. Of the 24 lights, 3 were damaged to the point they had to be replaced. Yes, their customer support is prompt and friendly, but it still meant I either had to order more lights (4 total because it was more cost effective to buy 2 sets of 2 than risk buying 3 and possibly have more damaged) or face further delays in completing the project. So now I will have spares if any fail in the future. The irony is their advertisement that they use this packaging to save weight while offering the same protection. There is NO protection of the backs of these lights, just a thin cardboard box. A simple piece of 1/8" pressboard in the box would prevent 99% of the damage I saw. The frames and corners are well protected with plastic guards and foam insulation and the lack of damage proves that it can be done. So, would I buy again? Truthfully, yes. They seem to be good quality. They are bright. They LOOK GOOD!! Their customer service is better than top-notch. If they would address their packaging issues - even if it meant raising the price $5/ unit - these would be 5 star lights 10 times out of 10 and still the best value on this type of item. It kills me to deduct 2 stars just for packaging, but when 22 of 24 lights are damaged due to poor packaging something needs to be done.
