Good product, exactly as described
Nice toy for teaching kids the basics of how to use a microscope, what it does, how different thing look when magnified. The magnification is not that good though.

Good Toy to aid learning for Children
The initial setup was a little long and takes some time to understand how the microscope works, considering that it is very similar to the actual one. But once that part is done, then it is all fun for the kids. My kid loves putting everything under the microscope, even pieces of bread, her hair and every small thing lying around. It does spark an interest in kids about sciences.

Es tan primitivo y poco útil, que lo único que provoca en un niño es aburrimiento. La luz es mínima y cualquier niño tiene dificultades para enfocar. Un juguete que usará cinco minutos. =(

A bit average
It's okay for a young child, but not the quality I'd expect for something with a Nat Geo brand on it.

This is a great example of an educational toy that totally captured her imagination.
My granddaughter was so taken with this microscope that she commandeered a section of the living room as her scientific lab. And she immediately went into technical mode examining everything in sught, she even figured out how to operate it on her own. She's just 7 /12 yrs old. Brilliant Amazon!!!
