Nice!
The Gaiam Balance Disc Wobble Cushion is a versatile tool that adds subtle movement and core engagement whether you're sitting at a desk or using it for exercise. It’s firm yet flexible, helping improve posture and reduce stiffness during long periods of sitting. Great for adults looking to activate their core while working, and also useful as a sensory seat for kids who benefit from gentle motion. The texture provides decent grip, and it’s easy to inflate to your preferred firmness. While it may take a few days to get used to the wobble, it’s a solid addition to any home office or classroom setup. Just be sure your chair is stable, as this cushion does encourage movement. Durability: 5/5

Highly recommend
Absolutely love it! In fact I bought another one to have at home and at work. If you sit for extended periods of who’s is a life saver for your lower back! Highly recommend.

BEWARE-DO NOT use on painted/finished surfaces - it ruined the finish on my wooden seat
First of all, I loooooove this cushion! The cushion is supportive and my core feels so good sitting on it. It is so nice to be able to move my body whenever I'd like to while sitting at my desk. I would recommend for adjustable chairs as it does add quite a bit of height to your seat. That is something I had not considered when purchasing a cushion vs a wobble/exercise ball chair. The reason I went with this cushion vs an exercise ball/chair is that I wanted the benefits of an exercise ball, but I did not want to have to store it. It was also a cheaper alternative to try out and see if a moving seat would work for me. The reason for the 4 starts is that it ruined the finish on my wooden dining bench which I now have to look at every day. When I contacted the seller about this they apologized that it ruined my bench's finish, but only offered this as a reply "We have tried to get Amazon to change the verbiage on their site however it's difficult to do so. Our site does mention compatibility on the product page, which says Cannot be used on chairs with painted/finished surfaces". I then pointed out to them that it should also be written on the slip of "instructions" that comes in the box with the product. Had that been on the instructions I would have made sure to set the cushion on something so as not to ruin my furniture. In conclusion, awesome product if used on an office chair, but if you use on a painted/wooden surface, make sure to place a barrier between the cushion and the seat!

Try it before you knock it.
Gaima has AWFUL practices. Let's start with the fact that I received a clearly used product that you are supposed to sit on. Bottom is worn, the inflation opening is scratched around the surface and the product arrived pretty heavily deflated. It seems pretty clear that somebody got the product, used it, didn't like it and returned it and Gaima then sent it to me. Extremely poor form. So, my product looks nothing like the picture because it arrive so deflated I could touch the top to the bottom. I pulled out my foot pump, attached the needle (which only by sheer persistence worked because I had to keep putting it back in the hose) and performed CPR on the pump for about 20 minutes. There must be another dimension houses within the ball because air was going out of the pump, it wasn't leaking out of the ball or the hose and the ball didn't inflate one bit. I chalked it up to being defective and tosses it back in the box with the idea in mind of returning it. Well, I bought the ball as part of a total-body physical therapy measure to both help me regain strength after my last surgery and to help me recover from my next surgery. I was farting around with some resistance bands I had and trying different exercises from different angles and I was having a rough time getting full range of motion on some quad and hip exercises because my legs were just a bit too long. I broke out the ball, plopped in on the chair and sat down. I'm not very heavy and I'm not very tall- 5'9" and 170 pounds. When I sat on the ball the air pressure caused by my weight caused it to raise in height several inches and straightened my back, extended my stomach and raised my knees so my thighs were parallel to the ground and my feet were flat. I instantly felt sore in my lower back and lower abdomen. It was working EXACTLY as it was supposed to. Curious, I then took it to my office chair, where I couldn't touch my heels to the ground unless I sat on the very front of the seat (which then causes me to slouch as my back rounds out to accommodate the downward slope of the seat) and puts pressure on my lower thighs (which hurts my knees because it causes my heels to hang). I plopped the ball down in my chair and sat on it. Again- spine goes straight, knees come up, thighs parallel to the ground, feet flat on the floor. Soreness in my lower back and lower core. Gaima's business practices aside, this thing works PERFECTLY. Give it an honest shot. I can't speak to how well it will work for much taller or shorter or much heavier people, but the ball I got is exactly the dimension I needed. Don't toss it before trying it, even if it looks lousy when you get it. Three stars because it works. Minus one for the condition it came in and the non-function of the inflation aspect and minus one for the fact Gaima clearly sent me a ball someone returned.

Overall great product
I just unboxed it. It did have some kind of light residue on it and a slight smell (saw the smell with some other reviews). I don't think this was a return or that it was used, I think it was just part of the manufacturing process. I took a rag and some cleaner and just wiped it down and both the slight odor and residue were gone. I would generally do this with things I buy anyway, it reminded me of the way some rubber or plastic balls have been when I purchased them in store before so I really think it's just part of the manufacturing process and not an issue. It appears partially deflated but I believe that is on purpose. The instructions that come with it say it's ready to go, so try it out that way for a week or so before you mess with the inflation. Immediately upon sitting on this in my leather office chair, I noticed it forces me to sit upright and not slouch which was one of the main reasons I got this, so success! I am also hopeful that it will work out some of these muscles that don't get a lot of use as a side benefit. It also feels comfortable to sit on. I can lean to the left or right, or wherever and feel movement and my body adjusting, so I think this is going to work great! I'll update this review if anything changes, I'm loving it so far and I think you will too! Just wipe it down when you get it, and leave it alone, try it for a week before you make any changes and go from there!

not comfortable for sitting
J**.
Didn't really work for me. Did not like that I have to inflate it but not sure what gadget to use to inflate it, so currently works as a leg rest for me as was not comfortable on my chair.

All this sitting working from home in a hard chair has not been good. This wobble cushion is like sitting on a balance ball without the bulk of a ball. It works perfect with my chair. I still have back support if I want by pushing it as far back as possible and I can still cross my legs if I want. Best of all, my hips and sit bone doesn't bother me like they were sitting even half a day in my chair. I've only been using it for a few days but overall feeling an improvement in hip and sit bone health since using it. I enjoy sitting on the floor playing games around the coffee table but it can cause the same discomfort as my desk chair. This cushion takes the discomfort out of sitting on the floor for prolonged periods too.

Avoid! Item description claimed inflation needle was included. It’s not. Box was also open so can only assume it was a returned item. Now I’m stuck with a flat cushion, no way to inflate it, and return shipping is more than item itself is worth.
