I have used McAfee on and off over the past probably 15 years and it’s always been one of the more simpler protection softwares to use. With this you get 5 downloads or devices. You can put it on your phone but I haven’t because I don’t really see the point with an iPhone. I do have it downloaded on several of our home laptops so it’s been a great value for the money. We get VPNs if we want them, web protection, virus protection, and just the overall feeling of security. It was easy to download and even easier to perform my first scan. The scan was quicker than I was expecting and the only downside is that there isn’t any easy to pick and choose what you want to be scanned. I would also like some general cleanup tools. You do also have to sign up for a renewal, but you can cancel it right after so that it ends when this 1-year ends. Overall though it’s still a great option for protection.

This is the only way that I buy my Internet security if you buy it from the company itself if you’re paying almost triple the price for the same thing and yet Amazon gives us the Best Buy so we have to thank them for that. Do not hesitate to buy this.

Not going to rave about this or Norton software. Be aware that you have to sign up for auto renewal but you can cancel it afterwards and do that right away. I don't like the continued reminders long before expiration that pop up and the attempted selling of upgrading.

The service is fine, but McAfee's set up is a crappy scam. I but the product code because I don't want to share my credit card info with every website on the net. YET, in order to do it at all, you have to select auto-renew AND then download everything again. Then, I have to reinstall the exact software that's already installed, and then manually turn off auto-renewal with is $100 more than the product key I bought. These ridiculous "choices" along with the constant McAfee ad pop-ups means I'll never buy this again. Terrible product. I don't recommend.
