These are simply among the finest quality baking ceramic pie pans one can buy. I have tried and until now failed to replace my marvelous HENN pie pan, which i broke, with one of comparable excellence. I took a risk and bought this twofer rather than a solo deep dish. These may exceed the fine Henn. The crusts bake to perfection even for apple pies, without burning,darkening or staying soggy. They are LOVELY and actually LARGE and deeper than most metal pans. I can pile up my apples, put on the top crust, pierce the dough so it can breath, cook at a very high heat to brown and then lower the temp, or cook for the duration at one moserately high heat, and the pans bake perfect pies either way, as they are rated for high heat. I am chuffed -these are for me, well worth my investment

These are beautiful pie plates. I didn't realize when I started looking for a 9 inch pie plate that I would find pie plates that were both lovely and performed well. There ordinary plates in metal and ordinary ceramic When I saw these I knew I had everything I needed, size and beauty. You can't go wrong they perform well too.

These dishes are fantastic. They’re so cute and versatile. I use them regularly for all sorts of things like flour to fry chicken or to bake in. Great sizes and value for the money. They’re sturdy and a good weight. Solid but not too heavy. Easy to use and clean. Perfect shape to stack nicely in my cabinets!

I bought these for myself since I've decided to try and get better at pies. I bought the Assorted Neutrals set and they are beautiful. They are shallower than I expected, but I made a double crust pear pie in them with no problem. I was able to run them through the dishwasher as advertised, though I was careful to make sure they weren't going to jostle against anything, and they came out great. They are classic design, simple and elegant, and I could definitely see these being an heirloom set among a baking family. I'm excited to use them more for years and years.

I own many Mora items and all of them make me very happy. I've given many for gifts as well. I liked that this item included 2 pie pans, instead of just one. I ordered the green and chai set. Both pans have that clean Mora prettiness and sturdiness to them. The green pan, however, scratched easily by the serving knife upon the first use, which indicates to me the ceramic glaze was too soft/thin. I thought it was just scuffed, but the scratches remained after washing. This did not happen with the chai colored pan, which I used to make the same pie at the same time and used the same serving knife. Although the scratches aren't that noticeable, it was unfortunate the pan scratched on the very first use; hence the 4 instead of 5 star rating. Overall Mora offers quality bakeware and kitchen items, and these minor scratches will not dissuade me from ordering other Mora products in the future.
