To start, I'll mention that I'm an amateur stargazer that has only ever used budget and starter telescopes and equipment, but in all the videos and media I've watched on the topic, all of them mentioned that upgrading to Plossl eyepieces as quickly as you can afford them is the way to go. Went with this kit because it came with the widest selection of eyepieces and filters, not to mention the Barlow lens. So far I'm very satisfied. Image quality is much clearer than the stock eyepieces that came with my telescope, and the eye relief of these new units is much more comfortable; I don't have to get nearly as close to the eyepiece to be able to see a bright and clear image. The construction of the eyepieces and other components feels very good, with the majority of the components being metal or glass, and everything coming with dust covers or in a box. The case isn't extremely sturdy or durable, and doesn't actually lock or even come with a key even though it looks like it has locking latches, but the case is good for what it is and even has extra space for additional accessories. I was able to put my collimation lens into one of the open storage slots, and still have room for at least one more eyepiece. Overall the case is a great way to store your eyepieces and accessories while staying organized. Conclusion: this kit is a great value for the price, and would make using just about any telescope much easier for any beginner or veteran stargazer who might be in need of an upgrade from the original eyepieces and accessories.

Just starting into stargazing, picked up a portable telescope and this case/set. The case is so awesome that I’m not having to put everything in my pockets walking outside. And it also had extra room for the 10mm, 25mm & 3x Barlow that came with my scope, I just moved things around to fit. The filters…The green is very green, neon almost but man it brings out the moon and the red & orange/red are very dark almost to the point you can’t see. Seeing how I’m new to all this having the variety of lenses to switch to find what works with what you’re looking at instead of just having two that come with your scope is outstanding. Finding the 40 works best on the moon or trying to find the star cluster then switch for higher magnification and the 6mm brings moon craters right to you and Jupiter can see the stripes but loose the moons, 12mm works for that. Just gotta play with them and see how they work for you. I’m using my iPhone in an adapter to take the photos. Not great at it yet.

The positive reviews are true. Compelling to qualify a very good product as a reasonable price. Stock eyepieces pale in comparison.

It has an excellent quality, feel and comes with extra space to put your own eyepieces in the case. Everything came super secure and safe. I’m very excited to test it out. I think this is a great value for your money and has a great appearance for any beginner.

So far I am extremely happy with this eyepiece kit. It contains a good selection of high and low powered eyepieces. The filters are a great addition to this kit and make it a great all around eyepiece kit. The included case keeps everything together neatly and free from dust. I would highly recommend this kit as it includes all the necessary components to get you up and running.

I am new to using a telescope and really liked the kit. I recommend this for people starting out.

Got to try these out finally with my Celestron 6SE telescope. Mixed feeling. The 6mm isnt clear. The Barlow is ok with lower lenses. The filters are ok but not life changing. Mediocre is my feeling. I maybe need to play with it more but not unhappy with my purchase for the price.

Great value and quality for Beginner. 2x Barlow is supper quality than 3x one from other popular brand which I returned. Its T2 threads fits Nikon DSLR perfectly and works great on my Dobsonian Telescope and enable to take many clear photos. the Moon filter is great too. The case is super sturdy and much space for extra eyepieces and adaptors. Attached case face painting from my son.
