Portablel Air Conditioner, Desk Portable Air Conditioner Fan, Mini Air Conditioner with Remote Control, Misting White

First, this device is pretty small. I won't post more pictures because the ones already posted are accurate. While it's small, it's pretty sturdy.Setup was very, very quick. I knew that ice water would be needed for best results so I had ice and cold water ready. I literally pulled the portable device out the box, opened the tank, filled it with ice and water and plugged it in.I'm going to be honest, I was initially very unimpressed. It felt like any old counter fan. I immediately wondered how this had so many good reviews, but since I wanted to give it a full chance, I decided I would let it run for half an hour before putting it away. That was the right decision.As people have said, this isn't going to cool a large space, but the air in front of you gets significantly cooler. I checked it next to a regular fan that's a slightly larger counter fan and the air around this device was noticeably much cooler. I was concerned the mist would be too damp, but even at its highest it's not really wet. Still, I moved some library books and an important paper out of the way just in case.Please remember that this isn't going to feel like you've plugged a window unit or central air in. It's cool enough to make you not feel miserably hot and if you're in a big room, you'll want more than one device or a supplementary fan.Pros:1. So easy to use that setup is less than five minutes. Really.2. Compact and easy to move. I was concerned about this since other models have handles, but it's easy to maneuver.3. Mist is refreshing.4. Really works. Sounds like an obvious need for a pro, but I'm shocked that it works this well.5. The fan is quiet. There's only a slight hum compared to other fans.6. Lights are a nice touch.Cons:1. It could be a few dollars cheaper.2. If this had a way to charge it via USB (for when the power goes out or to travel) it would be perfect. In fact, I debated between this and another model because of the lack of USB charge.3. There's the sound of water. You can hear it. If you're sensitive to that, you may want to avoid this model.4. There's a little bit of condensation that collects on the inner rim and around the base with cold water and ice. Because of how the tank is built in, the condensation on the base doesn't really drip, but you don't want to put anything that might get wet immediately around it. If you touch the condensation on the inner rim, it'll drip down the device. I'm a bit clumsy so I purposely touched it to see if it would drip. It's not likely to be a problem if no one touches it. I put a little towel down under it to collect anything that might accidentally fall though.Overall, this is what I was hoping for and I'm happy with the purchase, the quick delivery, and the packaging.

So I've had two of these and both of them broke after about a couple of weeks use. The first one I got, worked fine for a couple of weeks, and it was great while it worked, until it didn't. The fan just stopped turning, cooling mist feature stopped working, but the lights would come on. Pretty useless. So I sent it back for a replacement, thinking I got a bad one and the next one would be better. Got the replacement and it worked great for about a couple of weeks. Until it didn't. I may or may not have accidentally overfilled the tank with water...it shut off and never came back on. I tried drying it out for a week. But it was toast. Accidents are bound to happen, but (allegedly) accidentally overfilling it with water ONE TIME should not permanently damage the unit making it useless. Sent it back like I did the other one and am permanently done with this poorly designed product. Looking at the other reviews, I see there are many others who got bad units that didn't last long. So BUYER BEWARE! These are badly designed. You might get a fan that works longer than a few weeks. And then again you might not. 😒

This is a wonderful little air conditioner/ humidifier. It is very easy to use and can be moved anywhere that has a power outlet. It works perfectly to cool my bedroom or work desk at the office. The noise level is low so I don't have to turn it off when I am on the phone.I prefer this model over another kind I purchased because it has a larger fan and the output of cool air is twice as much at any speed level.The only negative factor is the small water tank. At the lowest speed with the cool button setting to on, the water lasts only two hours at the most. If I raised it to the higest speed, the water tank would be empty in just over 30 minutes. It's bothersome to keep filling the tank every 30 to 40 minutes.

I had a feeling this fan would make me think it was overpriced once I used it, and I was right. Should've followed my gut instinct. It can't cost that much to build a mister into a low speed, small fan. The company making and selling these must have a a high profit margin.There are features I don't think I'll ever use like the timer and misting level (high and barely lower). The LED ring light is sort of nice in a dark room at night. The fan has three speeds, the highest of which is almost strong, but still weak. To experience some cooling, you have to sit fairly close to the fan.Even with the complaints, the fan does a decent job of cooling. Just don't expect it to cool a small bedroom unless you give it about 3 hours. It's a decent, overpriced, personal space cooling fan. TIP: put ice and ice water in it.

UPDATE: The company promptly replaced my fan at no cost and it has been working WONDERFULLY ever since. It's incredibly quiet and yet gives really effective cooling. Love the timer function. I am impressed enough that I just ordered another one for a gift. So my 1-star review is now a 5-star. Highly recommend.OLD REVIEW: Completely died after about 30 uses, almost all of them just as a regular fan without the water spray. Too bad! It produced tons of air with incredibly low noise.
