Worked for my demodex blepharitis
About two years ago, I was diagnosed with dry eye in my left eye. I had intermittent symptoms of watery eye, blurry vision and a feeling that something like an eyelash was poking into my tear duct. I tried over the counter eyedrops for dry eye with no success. About 4 months ago, my symptoms got much worse. My tear duct was definitely clogged and I had swelling and pain in my nasolacrimal glad. My eye was constantly watering and my vision was blurry and I started having a crusty build up at the base of my lash line on the inside half of my upper eyelid. After a Google search, I knew from the list of symptoms and pictures that I had demodex blepharitis. I purchased Noveha's Eyelid Cleansing Wipes and Noveha's Extra Strength Eyelid Foaming Cleanser. I started out just using the wipes. For me, the cleansing wipes did not do as good of a job as the Foaming Cleanser. The texture of the wipes was a little too rough for my eyelid and there was little to no improvement in symptoms. I used the foaming cleanser as part of a routine: after washing my hands, I used warm water to gently soften the crusty ick on my lash line without wiping or scrubbing. Then I used one pump of the foam to gently wash my lash line, massage my swollen tear duct and then wash my eyelid, under eye area and my eyebrow. I wash my eye area for about 20-30 seconds using my finger tips. I rinsed the area with warm water, patted dry and then put a very thin layer of petroleum jelly along my lash line and eyelid. I did this routine twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Two and a half weeks later, I had no symptoms of demodex blepharitis or dry eye. My left eye is completely back to normal. For the past week, I've used it once a day. I keep a couple packets of the cleansing wipes in my gym bag and I'll pack them when I travel just in case I need them, but when I'm home, I only use the foaming cleanser. In retrospect, I think that the wipes didn't have enough of the tea tree oil to affect the amount of demodex I had. The wipes are moist, but there is probably more tea tree oil in the volume of cleanser I used. Plus, the cleanser is easier to distribute and get into the areas where the demodex lives when dissolved in a soap solution. The foam cleanser is thick enough so it stays on your hand where you put it and doesn't slide down your face when you're washing. It did not irritate my skin or eye, the soap is soft and smooth. It didn't dry out my skin, but I also used petroleum jelly afterwards. If you have demodex blepharitis, this is definitely worth trying. Updated edit: It's been a year since I posted and I thought I'd add what happened. I continued doing the once a day treatment for about another week and then completely stopped using the eye wash. I had no problems with any pain, watering or crustiness. In September 2025, I woke up one morning with a crusty feeling in both eyes and my left eye was watering a bit. Rather than wait and see if it got worse, I used the eyelid cleanser foam on both eyes, using the same technique as mentioned above. Three days later (six treatment sessions) I stopped because I had no more symptoms, but I actually felt back to normal after three sessions. I did a few extra sessions just in case. Something I did not mention in the original post that I should have: I put a clean pillowcase on my bed pillow every night and I used a clean towel to dry my affected eye for every treatment session. In September, I washed my hands between treating each eye and used a separate clean towel to dry each eye. When washing my pillow cases and towels, I presoaked the load with 1/4 cup bleach. I never used the towelette packets that I had in my gym bag. They got a bit beat up, so I threw them away and replaced them with new packets, but I doubt I'll ever use them. Still a five star rating! Still highly recommend!

Excellent at removing mites on eyelids
After my annual eye exam my doctor discovered that I have mites on my eyelids. My options were either to buy expensive eye drops at $800 or an office procedure for cleaning at $190. I researched other options and found this foam for a fraction of those prices, and it had really good reviews. The first time I used it, all of the crusts came off. I’ve been using it twice a day for the past month and they haven’t come back. I’m thrilled. The product smells nice, it feels good, and is so easy to use. I hold a disposable cotton round under the pump and press once. Then I gently swipe each eye several times. Then I wipe the rest of my face with what’s left on the pad. Then I rinse my whole face with warm water. My face is soft and clear since using this. I highly recommend this product!

Demoted eyelid cleanser foam
The cleanser feels great, softens skin and doesn’t irritate any of the skin. I am using it to help with irritated eyelids and they seem a bit better after several days which surprised me. I’ll continue using it for the overall effect. It doesn’t smell great but natural oils may not. Good product.

Works with gentle foam
I have trouble with démodé. I alternate this type of foam with another brand. This one is more soothing, and moisturizing because of coconut oil. I will keep using it because I like the foam. Just shake it before using. I let it sit on my eyes for several minutes before rinsing.

Great lather, nice fragrance
Nice rich lather, smells nice, seems to clean well. Better than some others I've tried.

Doesn’t sting!
Bought this for my eyelids during a dermatitis flare up. Not a cure but very handy to cleanse my sensitive irritated eyes without adding to the irritation. No sting at all. Even removes makeup pretty well. I actually am using it now for my whole facial cleanser. Goes a long way, gentle in my skin and not overly drying.

Smells a little chemically
This product definitely has a rich foam and lathers up well without drying out my skin. But previously I ordered Iris Dry Eye Cleanser and liked it a lot more. Sadly it's not available on Amazon any longer. Between the two, Iris had the more natural smell and felt mintier, refreshing and also moisturizing. I was tempted to buy the three pack of these, which looked like a better deal, but given the smell (which is a little like a chlorinated pool) I'm glad I only bought one. I'll probably try another brand next time.
