Movies like these keeps me well engadged, characters are unique and interesting, good director/directors, I look forward to watch more sequals

Great movies, great 4K video and great price
These are the best "Planet of the Apes" movies ever made. Forget the Charlton Heston ones or the Tim Burton one - these are it. Compelling story line, great acting, excellent dialog and mind-bogglingly good special effects. The CGI apes are absolutely believable real and nothing like the old rubber masks. They may not be able to do CGI humans yet (they still fall into the "uncanny valley") but for the ape characters here, you WILL believe! The 4K video and the DTS HD-MA audio are spectacular. Some folks complain about the lack of Dolby ATMOS audio but how many of us actually have ceiling channel speakers in our home theaters?I got these at a stupidly good price (just $18 US) just before Xmas 2023 and even though I already have them in HD on Blu-ray discs (don't tell my wife!), it was worth the low price to make the video upgrade. Oh well, the local library gets the old box set...I can't wait for the fourth film to come out next year! I'll have to get it in UHD when it comes out as well and will probably pay more for that than for these three in this box set. How stupid is that?

Everything arrived in great condition, and on time. Note though: the digital copies aren't 4K, only HD. That was a little disappointing but I'm still pleased.

"They really did it..."
Although this is not the classic Planet of the Apes it is a very good series. This box (and a special when its a discount) is a perfect buy.The 4K is wonderful (much details and warm colours) and the sound is impressive. War is the only one in Dolby Atoms.Dont watch these movies on a Streaming service simply buy these 4K discs.

Great movies, amazing quality
I have never seen all these movies before and I'm glad I waited to see them in 4k UHD. The image was stunning and the colors very vibrant on my TV. Even the first movie looked great and the sequels definitely improved with image quality. Id recommend these movies in 4k to anyone who is tired of the high rising streaming costs.

Unbelievable price for 3 truly great sci fi movies
cant believe I got 3 $K movies for under 18$--cheaper than regular DVDs!!!! These are truly classics for any fan and the 4K treatment is phenomenal. Breakdown:--while a sci fi action series these films also have a strong heart, exploring relationships, friendships and family, ape and human, between action sets--Andy Serkis deserved an Oscar--his portrayal of Caesar throughout is breathtaking and even better than his performance as Gollum--best by far is "War" or disc #3--directed by Matt Reeves who has become one of our best directors. Truly wraps up everything and includes a stellar performance by Woody Harrelson as a renegade Army Colonel dedicated to exterminating apes--Rise is a very good beginning story--Dawn is also very good, but it si bookended by two better films. Its a needed transition film though

Eine der besten Trilogien überhaupt
Meiner Meinung nach ist diese Trilogie ein Meisterwek von Matt Reeves und die schauspielerische Leistung von Andy Serkis als Caesar eigentlich oscarwürdig.Zudem verwendeten diese Filme ein CGI, das seinesgleichen sucht. Wahnsinn wie echt alle diese Affen wirken und alle wurden sie von echten Menschen gespielt.Für alle deutschsprachigen Fans: Ja, alle Discs (zumindest die 4K Versionen) enthalten auch eine deutsche Tonspur, auch wenn es nicht auf der Box oder den Hüllen steht.10/10 Punkten für diese Trilogie

Tapa Dura
Las cajas de los Blu-ray/4k son bormals pero la que envuelve a las 3 es tapa dura de calidad. Todas las descripciones vienen en inglés pero las películas están de español también, además de los menús, en dolby audio y DTS. Un precio fantástico que pillé de segunda mano y está en perfectas condiciones. Se ven de lujo.
