Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID Mac Models with Apple Silicon [Lightning Port] (QWERTY English) Blue (Renewed)

Bought one of the new iMacs for my wife and it surprisingly didn’t come with fingerprint - so I ordered one to give her the whole experience. It’s a great keyboard, works as expected, like any Mac the keystrokes are awesome, easy to connect, go at any speed you like - it’ll keep up, always connected as long as it’s charged, just worth every penny - like any Mac anything.

Even though I wish it was the usb-c connection type it’s still works great and charges to 100% and holds the charge as well. I hope this one lasts as I just got it about a week ago

This is an authentic Apple Refurbished keyboard. The Amazon listings should be mindful of the lightning vs. USB C distinction however. This keyboard I received was definitely a lightning keyboard. The functionality is what I expect from Apple keyboard and the feel is right. When compared with other authentic Apple peripherals, the color matches them and the Apple iMac lineup exactly. Going the refurbished route is a good way to get a good value (less expensive) for the peripherals of various colors that Apple holds back as exclusive only if you purchase an iMac of the corresponding color. I own as many as 12 of these keyboards and the charging is relatively fast and they hold a charge for a long time in hibernation. This is a quality product and for this listing you should not fear the refurbished product. The keyboard I received arrived with a quality control sticker indicating inspection in an unmarked box and a generic (non color braided) lightning to USB C charging cable (like comes with an iMac purchase) - so buyers should be cognizant of that trade off. The Touch ID (compatible only with Apple silicon Macs) functions as intended and is a very nice feature.

********Second Edit: the authorized repair people had to order a whole new keyboard bc the secondhand one was broken up from a set. Cost me 93 bucks on top of the 76 I payed for the original. I should have just returned the keyboard before taking it in - lesson learned. At least my repair shop has great people and gave me a discount for my troubles. ********EDIT: battery is shot and only works when plugged in. Went to my local apple authorized repair place to get a new battery for it. Beyond pissed off, did anyone check this before it was sent off? This is the exact reason why I have trust issues buying second hand. Shame on Woot. I was really nervous to get this second hand, but I am glad I took the risk. I have only had it a couple hours, but I will update my review if anything changes. It immediately recognized the keyboard when I plugged it in to my Mac. It appears all keys work and Touch ID works too. Touch ID was the main reason I wanted this so I can keep my Mac in clamshell mode. It is almost brand new, it has one small nick on the edge - that was not a deal breaker and its nearly noticeable. It is the lightning model of this keyboard which was fine with me as I still have a few devices that use it. The cord was a legit apple cord as well and had the original apple packaging on the cord. I am really happy with this so far and would consider more second products in the future from this company (Woot I believe?).

This keyboard works as advertised. I only wish Apple would have an option with mechanical keys and a separate fingerprint reader. I much prefer the Logi mechanical keyboards, but they lack the fingerprint scanner. The keyboard was easy to connect. It looks good and matches the Apple aesthetic of the M4 Mini and Mac Studio. The soft keys are quiet and feel responsive. Overall it is a good keyboard that would get five stars if it came with an option for mechanical keys.

The keyboard was in great condition. The touch ID was fully functional, wear and tear was virtually non-existent! No visible damage at all. The battery was functional and holds a good charge. Very pleased!

This keyboard goes PERFECT with my Mac Mini setup 😍💅. Clean, minimal, aesthetic… and PINK?? Apple really knew what they were doing with this one 😂. The keys feel super smooth and satisfying to type on, and the Touch ID feature makes everything so quick and convenient. I didn’t realize how much I’d love that feature until I started using it constantly. It connected instantly, works flawlessly with my setup, and honestly made my desk look so much more polished and put together. Now every time I sit down to work, I feel like a very productive Barbie CEO ✨💻💕 The battery life is great, it’s lightweight without feeling cheap, and the overall quality is exactly what you’d expect from Apple. If you love a clean setup and pink accessories as much as I do… this keyboard is absolutely worth it 💖

Its an apple keyboard, so you probably already know what you are trying to buy. This renewed version is basically brand new. I couldn't find a single fault with it. Was nice to save some money on what is an overly expensive typing device. The keyboard itself is nice, and I like the way the keys press and are not clacky. Great for a work keyboard where you need to type fast without a lot of distance movement, and noise. The TouchID works with my M1 MacBookPro without fault. Which is the main reason I got this keyboard. I needed to replace my prior apple keyboard (which didn't have touch id). The only thing I don't like about this new version of their keyboard, is that the Arrow Keys are different. The Left and Right arrow keys are 'fat', filling in the area. While the old keyboards they used to be thin with a gap you could drop your fingers in to know what you are pushing (without looking down). I will get used to it, but it really is annoying coming from their prior keyboard.

No leí que era reacondicionado 😅 hasta que llegó me di cuenta hahaa. Pero en general llegó sin imperfecciones. Lo único malo fue el cable, a simple vista lucía de buena calidad pero la realidad es que no lo aceptan los dispositivos mac. Carga suuuuper lento. Pero hablando del teclado fue excelente compra. El reconocimiento de huella no ha fallado y siento que a veces falla la tecla de activar mayúscula pero eso le pasa a mi MAC así que supongo que es normal esa falla 😅. En fin, fue buena compra

No venia en caja original como el de los demás clientes, pero venia en buen estado, con su cable de carga y todo. Tiene Touch ID así que es mucho mas fácil usarlo en mi Mac. Lo pude conectar a mi iPad Pro M4 y funciona de maravilla ahí también. Lo único curioso es que no esta tan uniforme en su estructura pero no afecta su funcionamiento.

El teclado reconstruido parecía nuevo al llegar. Sin detalles, bien empacado. Hasta ahora no ha dado un sólo problema, y si los da, pagué garantía extendida a un precio muy bajo. Lo recomiendo 100%

Lo recomiendo, el teclado llego sellado con su caja original y todos accesorios. Funcional 100%. Original y nuevo. Ampliamente recomiendo que lo compren por el precio lo vale comparado al que vende en su tienda oficial la marca del teclado.

Desafortunadamente dejó de funcionar en menos de 6 meses. Empezó como un problema de lag, después el modo inalámbrico dejó de funcionar completamente, y finalmente ya no funciona el Touch ID (que fue la única razón por la que lo adquirí). Definitivamente es mejor gastar un poco más por un teclado nuevo, al menos así tienes garantía con el fabricante.
