The table was packed well and arrived undamaged. It is heavy and feels solid. The unboxing and assembly took about an hour and a half but was straightforward. You are going to want a ratcheting screwdriver with a torx bit. If you use the included 4mm allen key it will likely take you all day. I think I used a T25, can't be sure. All the holes lined up and there were no quality issues. I think it is a good value. I got it because of the 36" height, I like that the legs are in the middle, and it converts from square to larger rectangle. I purchased 4 matching chairs to go with it. I would buy it again.

Purchased the table with service to assemble the product. The two gentleman that assembled the table were respectful and professional. After assembly they removed all the container material and cleaned up after themselves. I was amazed just how sturdy and heavy this table is and I am glad to have order the service to have it assembled, I don't think I could have put this table together by myself. The center leaf is easy to install and remove and with the leaf in can sit six comfrotably. Without the leaf you can sit four comfortably. Most importantly, as a wheelchair user I can sit comfortably at the table with no problems, especially if I am having dinner with guest(s). I also bought two matching chairs for my guest. My daughter and son-in-law says they love the new dining set, since we always gather in the kitchen area when they visit. Overall, for the money, it's a simple beautiful dining room table, but sturdy enough to be used as utility table. I do recommend getting the matching pair of chairs.

Very nice table. Easy to assemble. And the price was great compared to buying from the manufacturer. The only issue is the middle section does not store under the table when not in use, unless I am missing a way to get it in the spot that looks like it should go.

Table is very sturdy and good quality. Assembly was not difficult other than being a little heavy and I had no one to help me. The price is so much better than at the store. I chose some barstools from Amazon to go with the table and I’m very happy. The color is a little different than I thought, Maybe a bit mahogany color. It’s very pretty though. I would have chosen different barstools with more similar color legs if I’d known. Overall very satisfied with the timely delivery, high quality and fair price.

Leaf had 2 chips, stuff happens. Amazon sending a replacement so no big deal. Gray table, easy to put together, really good quality, looks great. As others have said, buying a table as nice, I would expect to pay a lot more. Very happy.

real wood is nice, but it was a pita to assemble and there is not sufficient clearance for for chairs to fully push in under the table.

When we opened the box, we were surprised at how dark the wood was - much darker than in the photos. I actually thought they may have sent us the wrong table - the Dark Brown instead of the Medium. But I checked online at the Ashely store, and the serial number on the box was for the Medium Brown, so it looks like they sent the right one - it is just very dark. Also, there are 2-3 saw cuts in each of the top panels. When I saw the first one, I thought it was a flaw, but then I saw it was on all 3. They do not especially highlight that in the online photos, but if you look REALLY carefully at the overall top, you can see the lines in it. I have attached a photo of what they actually look like. I think this is what they are referring to in the description as 'lightly distressed'. In my opinion they ruined a beautiful piece of wood. Overall the table is solid and well made, and goes together quickly and easily. It is a good quality table. Just darker than I had planned on and has the saw cuts in the top. I also agree with the other reviews that said the box arrived damaged by shippers, but the product inside was fine. There were many many many staples to take out, which was annoying, but probably is part of the reason that the table was in great shape while the box wasn’t.
