A Whole New Level of Awesome!
I just finished this book, so I am still processing a lot of it, but there is something so vastly different about the superb quality of this series that I hope I can put my finger on it in the near future. We have all read these same stories, told over and over again in different ways, and yet this series seems to transcend most of them. For instance, I attribute a lot of Harry Potters success to the ability of JK Rowling to perfectly synchronize the maturing of the characters, the subject matter, the writing complexity, and soooooo many other things, with the maturation of the reader. Does this series do that as well? I think only with several more read throughs of this series will I be able to answer that. What I can tell you is that I loved these books! Whether it is the believability of the friendships, the true love and playfulness of Augum and Leera, the edge of your seat action scenes, or maybe just the belief that the greatest of obstacles can be overcome with education, determination, friendship and love. These are the attributes that I look for when choosing what I read next, if they are yours as well, then book one of The Arinthian Line awaits you.Thank you Sever Bronny for sharing your incredible story with us. I am sad to see this series end, but anxiously await the future adventures of our trio of nasty teenagers. Also, I wanted to thank you for your 24 hour, 99 cent release sales you offer. My love of reading can get very expensive and small things like that that you and other authors offer, allows a lot of us to experience great books that we may not be able to afford otherwise. Best of luck to you, you are a fabulous author.

Fantastic conclusion to a great series.
No plot spoilers, just general thoughts. This book was truly a great conclusion to what has not become one of my favorite series. While explaining the book to someone, it could be easy to try comparing the book to other series. But let's face it, many fantasy series will have similarities. What makes the different and special is how the author executes the story and Sever did a great job with this series. I love his Arcane system and how there is a manner of advancement by learning harder spells, but yet allow for the flexibility to study ahead when needed. Same can be said for learning skills in real life. But learning the advance skills don't come easy and not necessarily quickly. Also, the growth of the three main characters in skills, friendships, and growing up in such stress was handled very well and run to read. The last half of the book was thrilling, both the battle preparations and the battle itself. As with everything else, nothing came easy for the heroes, and it shouldn't have, so that was great to see. So many things were nicely tied together with pieces from previous books coming back in a way that makes you want to go back and re-read them to see how he was able to plant threads through the series for the final payoff. If you haven't read the series, I recommend you do so and look forward to seeing the next series that he has indicated will be coming in the future.

Still liking it
Still enjoying the read, although it has gotten a bit repetitive ( the same description of the same spell for the umpteenth time again!?) and a little anti climatic at times. The juvenile romance was very difficult to get through. Very strong Dragonlance-type ideas, as well as a keen resemblance to the H. Potter series. I feel the series doesn’t have the uniqueness required for an instant classic, nor the ingenuity to be a favorite. The ideas are there, the world is built, but it still lacks depth and is a bit too fast-paced to build any more (which the younger generation would enjoy more than I, I’m sure). One more note I would like to mention is that the author is prone to “telling “ how things are, the thought processes, the spell casting, the feelings and emotions generated, etc. and doesn’t spend a lot of time “showing” the reader these things. I see the potential for the author to develop in several ways depending on the audience he chooses.

Book 5 of an eight part series of books, very worth starting at the beginning, very good read!
Superb story writing! I was captured at the beginning and could not stop reading the whole of the eight books of the two series of book, The Aitinthian Line and Fury of a Rising Dragon. Because I didn't know about the first series, I started with the second and went back and read the first. Epic! As much magic as the Harry Potter books but more depth of action and you really get to know the people that inhabit all seven books, I'm about 80 years old, been reading SciFi and fantasy since I was just a boy, so my stated opinion here must carry some weight as I have read a lot of books of this kind. So, five stars for the whole series.

The Best and Final Volume in a Great Series!
This is all you can ask for in a series finale. The characters you have become so deeply invested in reach the end of their perilous journey. There is bittersweet emotion, action, horror and revelation in this book. Honestly I was a little concerned after reading "Clash" that the series would be somewhat derailed but this book brings things back on target. It isn't perfect and there are a couple of minor niggles that bugged me while reading but the riveting conclusion and the aftermath more than make up for those tiny blemishes. Honestly this may actually be my favorite series in the fantasy genre (and I've read a bunch of them). I'm excited to see that the author has chosen to continue writing about this world and I fully intend to keep reading.

AMAZING!
This has got to be THE best series of books I have ever read and being a great Harry Potter fan I did not think I would ever say this. I read them one after the other and left bereft when I had finished. A great adventure for all ages (I'm 62). A trio of teenagers with the weight of the world on their shoulders who had to grow up fast and the love they had for each other shone from the pages. Onto Burden's End now, the first of a new series. Do yourself a favor. Buy book one NOW and immerse yourself in a true epic adventure. You will be blown away I promise.

WOW! A must read!
This book concludes the series that is the arinthian line. There are plenty of books on the market today that have a similar theme but none can draw you in as fantastically as Sever does. You feel that you have learned the spells with the Trio, shared their losses and celebrated with them. If you are like me and have a lot of free time and have gotten bored with reading books that are predictable or repetitive then you will love this series. If you have read the other books then this book is sure as hell a brilliant ending and I cannot wait to see what Sever has in mind next for the group.

Brilliant from beginning to end
An awaking, a coming of age, A tale of Three people who become friends tasked with the impossible, or is it? As their powers grows the story gets deeper and darker until you just can't put it down.
