Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pen - Black

As someone who's neverused a brush pen before, this pen is amazing for beginners. The brush side of the pen is flexible and easy to use without loosing control of the brush movement. However, the felt tip end is slightly hard at the beginning. But like any other pen, it starts to get easier to use the more u use it. For the price it is and how fast they get here, it is fair to say that they are worth buying.

It is a very good product for beginners such as myself who are interesting in modern calligraphy or hand lettering. However the tips becomes frayed easily when used on wrong paper and that is something you should be wary of. Brush Tip: Pros: It is very flexible Ink in opaque and clean Good Product for beginners Cons: the tip is easily frayed, so you may need to use more expensive higher quality paper - I recommend HP Laser-jet paper It may be hard to control at first I have not used the felt tip much so I cannot write a good review for that.

I bought this pen as my first ever brush pen and I found it really difficult to get the hang of because the pen is supposed to be used for large lettering (I didn't know that until I became brush lettering obsessed) and I was trying to write small. The brush split after about 2-3 weeks of using it so after that the lettering didn't look nice. The small nib on the other side is alright to use but leeks through paper. If you're a beginner I would 100% go for the Tombow Fudenoskue until you learn how to do brush lettering. They're also a lot cheaper than the Tombow dual pen. Overall, good pen, bit pricey, would buy again. (Also in my opinion, Tombow is the best brand).

I bought this for card making and my bullet journal and it is great. The ink is acid free and I am getting to grips with applying more pressure to the downward strokes and drawing some arty letters. It is a nice touch that there is a fine liner on the other side, which is equally easy to write with. I like that the ink is quick to dry and a very deep black, in oppose to some of the cheaper brands.

I love this pen, so much so that I have re-purchased. The ink is lovely and dark. The nibs offer great versatility. The brush nib is soft, but firm enough for a beginner- like myself. Great pen.

Love these pens for highlighting and bringing some colour to my bullet journal. They don't bleed colour underneath aslong as pen is dry and they don't bleed through the paper. They are lovely to use and I love the two tips and use both

Great quality large brush pen, with the bonus of a fine point at the other end. I haven't really got the hang of using the looooonnnggg handle - but have found useful tutorials online to help me with this. I used it to letter all my daughter's wedding place cards and was really pleased with the results.

Was buying this brush pen for Shodo, as I was looking for brush pens of varying sizes. However, I feel this is not meant for that at all as it does not perform well when used for calligraphy. It's like the brush runs out of ink mid stroke, leaving a very weak looking stroke. You could say that's my fault for buying it when other reviews mentioned shading and drawing. But it's made by Tombow who make other good calligraphy brush pens.

Brush pen is great. 4 stars only because the colour does not match with what is shown on the website. Its very pale. good for highlighting text.

Leider ein wenig empfindlich, aber sonst ein sehr schöner Stift!

Arrivato in tempo (anzi anche 1 giorno prima della data prevista). Ottimo stato. Non sono esperta in questo ambito, sono alle prime armi. Certamente posso dire che ho acquistato un Tombow e altri pennarelli dual brush di un'altra marca (Mozart) e comparandolo agli altri si sente la differenza (maggior qualità), soprattutto nella flessibilità del brush. Gli esperti sicuramente optano per Tombow.

Son los mejores, con diferencia. Caros, pero merece la pena. Recomiendo 100×100
