Bosch 1600499005 Adapter GBS/Guf/Gex/Pks

Crap. Arrived cracked on the part where hose attaches. Good luck finding one ! Had to use duck tape to secure. As using it it’s not a tight enough fit in the sander so slips out .Pretty poor for a genuine Bosch item.Afterwards I found a hose that goes from washing machine to waste a sort of corrugated flexi hose fit the sander just as well.

I bought this to connect the Bosch 2600793009 hose to my PSM 18 Li multi-sander (as recommended in the Bosch manual). It's a simple push fit into the sander but there is no locking mechanism so it is possible for it to fall out while using it if you are not careful (hence the loss of 2 stars as you can end up with dust everywhere!). To avoid this I use tape to secure it.

These will connect direct to the machines listed on packaging and are very easy to adapt to fit other makes of tool.The adapter will then fit to the nozzle of Bosch dust extractors ( I use Bosch GAS25 and GAS50 vacuums )Fitted to all my hand tools and now they all plug straight to extractors easily, should have done it years ago!Up to you to check its compatible with your tools and extractor?

It does what its supposed to. Please note it is made from a very rigid plastic so will not stretch to fit anything bigger than its internal diameter.

No dislikes, it works very well

In the past I've tried to hold the vacuum cleaner hose close to the dust outlet on my sander. NOT very successful. This little device enables a proper snug connection and helps keeps dust out of the work environment.What a shame the manufacturers don't make the hole on the sander fit the cleaner hose!Neverless, a very useful attachment - I've just been too mean to buy one before
