Amazing with seasoning oil, useless without it. Make sure you grab your Camp Chef seasoning oil for this, or see this thing rust to pieces. PRO-TIPS:1. Do NEVER EVER clean with soap.2. After use, wait until it cools on itself, only then put it in the sink and apply WATER (WITHOUT SOAP), and use an old rag or something to clean it up. Use a mild scraper to get the food off.3. After it is dry, heat it up a bit again and apply seasoning oil to both sides, grips etc and voila, it is ready to be used again (don't forget to turn the heat back off).

I used to struggle with pizza stones in my pizza oven. After breaking my 3rd stone I decided I'd give trusty Cast Iron a go. Well I wasn't disappointed. Lodge superior crafted griddle pan is just the thing to tolerate high initial temperatures. Performed brilliantly. would by time and time again.

It's 'Lodge Cast Iron', it's the very best. I love it. I have a skillet and a casserole dish which are used almost daily. I highly recommend the products and the manufacturer.

Bought this for us on our camp stove. It works great!! With the grill on one side and the flat cast on the other side, it is the perfect tool to make anything from grilled lamb shanks to pancakes.Love the two handles for picking it up. The handles are low and don't take up a lot of room like some cooking pans. We love the compact size of the cast iron as is perfect for one side of our camp stove, freeing up the other side for cooking in a pot.The cast iron is seasoned and easy to clean and reseason for the next meal. The drip ring around the outside holds any excess grease or fat. That is convenient to clean up.Would purchase again as it is an excellent value for us. Actually we did. The first purchase arrived and was VERY light, opened the package and found two children's books in it. Contacted Amazon customer service and they found another distributor who shipped it with two day delivery. It arrived and was what we had expected.

Piastra dalle generose dimensioni, adatta per cuocere bistecche degne di questo nome. La superficie è reversibile, per cui chi preferisce la cottura dietetica delle carni su superficie rigata potrà utilizzare il lato opposto a quello che si vede in foto. Personalmente l'ho presa per utilizzare prevalentemente il lato liscio, il più adatto a cuocere la carne in maniera uniforme, donando alla superficie una perfetta crosticina croccante dovuta alla reazione di Maillard. Reazione impossibile da ottenere sulle tradizionali padelle antiaderenti, in quanto non si può farle scaldare sul fuoco a dovere prima di mettere a cuocere la carne; pena la rovina dello strato di materiale antiaderente, oltre la possibile contaminazione del cibo da parte dello stesso. Non è economica, ma vista l'eccellente qualità costruttiva i 79 € che mi è costata li ho spesi volentieri. Anche se il fatto che pochi giorni dopo il mio acquisto sia scesa a 61 € (senza essere in offerta) non depone a favore di Amazon (venditore diretto del prodotto). Un po' più rispetto per il cliente sarebbe d'obbligo.Inoltre questa volta Amazon ha completamente toppato l'imballaggio. Semplicemente INESISTENTE. La piastra è stata spedita all'interno di una busta di plastica, una di quelle che utilizzano i corrieri. Col risultato che la busta, tagliandosi in un paio di punti, quando l'ho ritirata lasciava fuoriuscire un paio di angoli della piastra. Scandaloso e inaccettabile, un simile imballaggio. Tra l'altro la ghisa è anche un materiale fragile, per cui la piastra avrebbe anche potuto rompersi durante il trasporto.
