Got to say, this little device saved me over £250... How? Well I was looking a a Teleprompter attachment for my camera which required that an iPad be placed on a flat plate, it was then reflected in a piece of angled glass that sat in front of the camera lens and allowed you to read your script, how much for this gizmo? Over £250 But then I thought... Well the iPad mini that I have (my old one that is no longer used) can download some free Teleprompter software and if I buy this clamp and clamp it onto my tripod just below the camera lens I have my own teleprompter at a fraction of the price, superb! Works for me, delivery was quick, the item is made of plastic with an adjuster at the back so you can fit an iPad mini or a regular iPad and it has a tripod screw mount at the bottom - perfect, very pleased and happy at the price too...

Watching films on my IPad in bed was uncomfortable, a real strain on my neck - I needed it to be positioned at eye level but didn't have anything I could use to do it. I saw this product on Amazon ( I didn't even know there was such a thing, lol) and remembered I had an old tripod for my camera that I no longer used. I attached this mount to it in seconds and hey presto! problem solved. It is a snug fit for my IPad Air and I don't have any problem with it not staying in place. It is not going anywhere. It will also be great for taking photos or recording video on your iPad, if like me, you have an unsteady hand. Excellent device and at excellent price! Highly recommended.

I have been using this with my iPad Pro, and while it's a great quality attachment - I can only use it in landscape orientation. My tripod can tilt 90º to make it portrait for vertical filming but there is no support under the ipad to hold it in place when I do that. In general it is very adjustable to fit various devices and fits securely and easily onto a standard tripod mount. Definitely worth the money if the size limit isn't a dealbreaker.

Perfect for my needs, i use a mini ipad as a video control switcher, when i need to keep my hands free i need to attach it to a camera tripod, this clamp works very well with a camera clamp that holds onto the tripod leg. This clamp has a quick release knob on the back for when i need to take the ipad away with me.

really good product - as this was so cheap i expected it to be just a stand in until i got some other model , (got it as needed something the next day) since ive used this for my Manfrotto clamp and arm i don't think i need the more expensive one . I use only in landscape mode and this keeps the iPad in place fine as long as you set up correctly - i don't move it much so very stable for me - came exactly as expected the next day . i recommend

I ordered a number of these for an animation class. They are either brilliant of frustrating depending on the day. When they work they are easily one of the easiest ways to use an iPad and a tripod with great rotation and the ability to drop to 180 degrees while still holding the iPad in place. When they don't work it is usually the knob at the back that sticks. This can mean that the unit can't be pulled apart easily and can break. It is fixable and so far we've had to do this a number of times on individual units. The fear is always the iPad sliding out when this happens. Having said that, they work more often than not and the children find them easy to use.

Chosen for use to hold Ipad Mini 4 on old Tripod to allow video and sound recording of event. Worked well and held the Ipad Mini in landscape mode perfectly.

Identical to the iKross iPad tripod mount, so who copied who? All the same traits as the iKross too - Holds an iPad3 in landscape mode (only) but make sure it's well clamped if you fit it to a tripod with a 90 degree tilt. My iPad started to slowly slide out until I tightened the clamp! It's a useful piece of kit if like me you want to take hands free video shots, or pan the iPad on a tripod. Only one downside so far, I found there was a slight induced wobble on touching the record button on the iPad screen, so leave time to edit out any wobbles on your shots! This happens no matter how gently you touch the iPad. I've only had it a few of weeks, and having now used it on two or three occasions, it has proved to be a very useful accessory, as I expected. It also seems well made. I can certainly recommend it for anyone who wants to use their tablet as a video camcorder.
