Logitech M235 Wireless Mouse

Good mouse. Battery life is excellent, I am a heavy user; and the included battery lasted nearly 2 years. I got into the habit of turning the mouse off every time I stopped using it, which probably helped. The switch is on the back but it's easy to do one handed. The USB dongle is very small and compact - I leave mine in my laptop the whole time and I've had no issues with transporting it. You can also store it inside the battery compartment of the mouse as well. I've tried it out on several machines (Windows 7, 8, Linux) and there were no problems with the mouse not working - just plug in and go. The very first time you plug it into a machine it might take a few seconds to recognise it, but after that it's instant.Simple design with just two buttons and a scroll wheel (which is also a third button if you push into it). It looks very elegant. I've even used it for gaming once or twice and it's been pretty good - no noticeable latency caused by the wireless and good accuracy. If you are looking for a 'full time' gaming mouse I would probably get a full size one however. The sensor tracks very well - I've used it on lots of surfaces: desks, carpet, glass, my leg, etc etc and I'm yet to find something that it doesn't work well on.The mouse seems solid and well built, however is a little on the small side. This is great for travelling though. One point - if you have big hands and use a palm grip (whole hand in contact with the mouse - just sort of flopped on top) then you will probably find it uncomfortable. Having said that, I have large hands and the size is fine for me as I use a fingertip grip with my wrist on the desk and just fingertips in contact with the mouse.Overall - a really good buy for the price; recommended for everyone except those who have big hands and are used to resting your whole hand on the mouse.

I bought this for part-time use at work, and specifically wanted a very small USB dongle with the mouse.I've used many Logitech mice in the past, and generally preferred the slightly chunkier Microsoft ones for long-term use, but in this case I wanted a small/tidy mouse to live in the drawer at work and only take to meetings etc when away from my desk or travelling.This little mouse is perfect. The dongle is tiny, sticking out only 7.5mm from the case of my laptop. It's not invisible, but is easily small enough to leave plugged in ALL the time. There's an on/off switch on the underside of the mouse so I don't chew the battery for the 85% of the day when I'm using a plug in mouse at my docking station. Other reviewers have mentioned the smart sleep function for battery savings when in permanent use, but this doesn't apply to me.The mouse itself is small, but not too small. I can use it with a flat and relaxed hand. Some smaller mice I've used force you to adopt the "claw" with your hand and quickly become uncomfortble, not so with this one.Not mentioned anywhere is the little storage cave, underneath the very easily removed battery cover, where you can store the dongle when not in use - this is ideal for when you put your laptop in a bag and might be concerned about the dongle sticking out the side, or losing it.All in all, great little mouse. I use it for about 1hr per day and it's comfy enough for that so would thoroughly recommend as a travel/temporary mouse, but I suspect it might be 10% too small for permanent use with a desktop.

I have tried Logitech wireless mice before and the ones I've tried seem to not be very accurate and were overly sensitive. I just want a mouse that is wireless, comfortable to use, and works like any wired mouse would do - not overly sensitive so you're having to adjust the way you use the mouse even on normal mouse speed settings.I'm pleased this mouse works perfectly fine - the mouse speed/sensitivity is absolutely fine, and works perfectly as an every-day mouse to use. A little expensive to me but I am in no way prepared to compromise on a cheaper mouse to find out the mouse speed/sensitivity of the tracking sensor is rubbish and having to send it back.Bottom line: works perfectly fine as a mouse to use every day; although the size of the mouse is a little on the small side - probably to the extent where it can be considered a mobile mouse - but I personally haven't had a problem using the mouse. Not had any reliability issues with it being wireless; but this is having the nano receiver on one of the USB ports on the side of my laptop and all-in-one computer. Aside from the consideration on the size of the mouse, the mouse doesn't offer anything extraordinary - two buttons and a scroll-wheel - with rubberised sides to the mouse. The mouse doesn't feel cheap when you are using it; just the sort of quality you'd expect from a mouse in this price range from a company like Logitech.I've used the mouse in both Mac OS X and Ubuntu and works fine in both environments. Not tried it on Windows, but there are plenty of other reviews here that cover that. In Mac OS X the mouse does feel slower on the same kind of mouse speed settings you'd set in Ubuntu and Windows, but this is how the tracking speeds (the 'tracking algorithm') work in OS X. If the mouse feels slow in Mac OS X, it is because you are not moving your entire hand when you are using the mouse (i.e. you are resting your wrist on your desk). In Windows and Ubuntu, doing this would make the mouse feel way too fast; the reverse in Mac OS X.

now owned for 2 days, i like it better than the microsoft 3500, the buttons have a depression so you feel your fingers inthe right place, the middle click is louder than the other 2, but at least its a good click, the microsoft' middle click was very soft and unreliable and you had to press it to one side more { i returned that one} other wise they are a similar size. its as responsive as a wired mouse , no lag, rubber grippy sides and quite a hump on top making it feel better than a small mouse usually is. the little reciever is the same size as the microsoft one, I like it so far, cannot comment on battery life, and for reception, it worked right across the room, so no problem if you use this on a desktop and put the receiver way in the back of a pc. Remember the underneath doent glow at all, not a fault, uses invisible beam, there is a top little green light that only glows for about 20 seconds when you first turn on, i believe that turns amber when the battery is empty. there is a little switch underneath but i will never remember to turn the mouse off, i guess i may pay with shorterbattery life, we shall see if that is still reasonable.

My last mouse was the Logitech M330 which I purchased in August 2001 after killing its predecessor. Now I have to say, any mouse I have is not only hammered, it's HAMMERED. Abused, dropped, clicked thousands of times every day. Batteries never last me a year. I'm lucky if they last one month. But I don't mind given my excessive use and I suspect normal users would get many more months per battery than I do. Sadly, a few days ago, that M330 dropped on the floor (again) but this time it damaged the scroll wheel beyond repair.So now enter the M235. Excellent. I was so pleased to see it I actually dropped it. Don't worry everything was fine. Thank you Logitech. You've never let me down with mice or keyboards and I will never buy another brand (unless you go out of business). Not only good products but built to last in the real world.

Most evenings I have my laptop on my lap whilst semi-watching tv.For the last few years I've had this make/type of mouse; it's usual Logitech quality, small and comfortable to use and very light, and the battery lasts for ages.The reason I am replacing it is because the rubberised grips on either side have gotten sticky and have started to break-up although it still works perfectly.Setting up is easy, just plug the tiny receiver into a (full-size) USB port and a few seconds later it can be used. I found the standard speed/acceleration settings ideal so have not tried to change them.It doesn't have enough functions to be a games mouse but doesn't pretend to be, I have a much more sophisticated mouse/joystick set-up for that on my games PC.At nearly £20, it's expensive and there are many cheaper mice available, even from Logitech but I'm used to it and was prepared to pay that bit more for it.I thoroughly recommend it.

For work reasons, I am a 6 day a week, long hours a day computer user so a good mouse is a must. My previous mouse was a Logitech, the predecessor to this, and I liked it a lot. When that died after many years of faithful service, they no longer make that model so this was my choice. Initially it was slightly off-putting because it is so quick even when I turned down the speed. However, my Wi-Fi is very good and the computer is quite new, and with a solid state drive, so if it is very fast with you, don't be put off. On the one hand you could argue that it simply does what it says on the tin, it is a mouse. On the other hand, it does what it says on the tin very well indeed. I said after my previous one that I would buy a Logitech again in the future based on how the last one functioned. This one has persuaded me of the same thing and on the grounds that I may have to buy a replacement several years down the road, I would buy a Logitech again.

This is not the same as the pictures or description. This version is fractionally (2mm) wider than the older versions and felt uncomfortable. This has been my go to mouse for years, but this feels cheap and really not nice compared to the older version. The wheel was scratchy, noisy enough to annoy my OH watching tv in the same room.When I plugged it in there was no battery light indicator, so checked the supplied battery was full. I initially assumed faulty led? It seems logitech have changed the spec, but not updated the information on their website. The battery light doesn't come on initially. Its apparently now supposed to show red when battery is low (according to one logitech help staff - though another suggested faulty unit) but I couldn't replicate it with a run down battery. There seems to be a void in the position where the old led was sited?At that point I wondered if it was genuine and returned. I reordered direct from logitech but it was just as bad. I've since bought a 2nd hand lightly used original version which is working perfectly.

El ratón inalámbrico Logitech M235 es bastante decente. Lo compré para llevarlo en viajes y cumple su función sin problemas. Es pequeño, ligero y la batería dura bastante.No es el ratón más preciso del mundo, pero para navegar por internet y hacer tareas básicas es más que suficiente. El receptor USB es muy pequeño, así que no molesta nada cuando lo llevo conectado al portátil.En general, es un ratón sencillo y práctico, ideal para llevar de un lado a otro. No esperes grandes prestaciones, pero si buscas algo funcional y barato, este ratón te puede venir bien.

A very good wireless mouse. It is comfortable to use, responsive, and works reliably without any issues. Battery life is also excellent. A simple, dependable mouse that I would happily buy again.
