So, my fiancé recently changed jobs and now he has to actually be at a certain place at a certain time every day, which is quite the change from his previous, more flexible job. He is a heavy sleeper and his mobile phone proved to be unreliable in waking him up in time. He jokingly said he needs something to shake him awake! As a speech therapist, I knew there are alarm clocks intended for people with hearing impairments so I knew the concept was not unrealistic.Upon searching, I came across this model and the reviews were quite good so I decided to go for it. The price was about 1/3 of what I thought I'd have to pay so I was excited but also on the side of cautious about the quality.I was not disappointed and, more importantly, my fiancé absolutely loved it -and he is notorious for finding something wrong with everything.It is easy to set up and it works exactly as intended. The vibrating plate is strong, just perfect to wake you up. The volume can be adjusted and even the pitch can be changed to cater to people who struggle with either low or high frequency sounds. The screen is large and its brightness can be adjusted as well. At the dimmest setting is no more brighter than a night light so it's not intrusive, at least in our opinion. I am giving it 5 stars because I honestly cannot find anything wrong with it.All in all, it does the job and it is easy to use once you've gone through the manual. Very pleased with my purchase and I think I saved my fiancé's job!

I have recently lost the hearing in one of my ears and I am also short sighted to boot. I could easily have a small clock right next to me on the bedside cabinet but for one problem; my CAT. She is rather naughty and she sits on my radio alarm clock pressing the buttons and playing with the lead to make as much noise as possible that I eventually get up to feed her, sometimes at silly o'clock in the morning. Hence I need a clock that I can have a short distance away but still be able to read the buttons and I need an alarm that makes a decent amount of noise. Well this fits the bill on both fronts as it sits on the radiator shelf some 4 foot away. The alarm is mega loud, so much so that I have had to turn it down; even with a gammy ear. The numbers are 3" high or so in bright red and they are still quite bright even on the lower setting. However where the small green numbers on my previous clock seemed to light up the space around it, the red numbers do not so the room is not lit up by this beacon of glowing digits. I am very pleased with the build and it's features. It has a vibrate pad which I won't use (providing I can keep the hearing in my remaining ear!) and you can even route your phone through it to capitalise on the loud ring and vibrating feature. I am now considering upgrading my phones to the same make; Geemarc. The only small gripe I have is that I would have liked it to be radio controlled, as in atomic time-keeping but one can expect to compromise as with most things in life.

I rarely write reviews, but decided to with this alarm clock because it’s superb.I have to sleep in a noisy environment so wear earplugs so I kept not hearing my alarm.This was to be my solution.I think this alarm clock could wake the dead!It’s very user friendly and easy to set up.The alarm is adjustable in both tone and volume - start out on the lower side, at top volume it’s really loud.The vibration I tried on high first, well it woke me up with such a fright as it was totally unexpected the power of it. So try low first - it’s still very effective. High, well it’s like a blooming earthquake.Clock face is adjustable in brightness and nice and big for anyone visually impaired.The light flashing is a nice addition, and would work well with the vibration pad for people with hearing loss.Overall, does the job brilliantly and worth every penny. I will never sleep in again with this.

Initially bought sonic bomb which looked cheap and did not work but had free postage. This does not look cheap. The size of the display is huge and very good for those with poor eyesight or half asleep. The alarm is easy to set up. The volume is adjustable. The phone attachment is a good idea but only works with a wired phone and is no good with wireless extensions. Sound wakes me up ok. The vibrator woke me up easily when under my pillow. I am quite happy with it. It looses one star because of the excessive postal charge of £8.23 when I would normally get free postage on larger-heavier items costing more than £25!

Der erworbene Wecker ist ausgezeichnet. Vollkommen problemlose Handhabung, stufenlose Regulierung für den Weck-Ton Lautstärke und den Weck-.Ton selbst. Für manche Menschen vielleicht ein Nachteil, das Zifferndisplay regelt sich bei Dunkelheit nicht herunter, mich stört es nicht. Insgesamt bin ich mit dem Wecker mehr als zufrieden. Ich kann den Wecker nur empfehlen.

Dieses Prokukt, eine Empfehlung vom Nachbarn, gefällt mir sehr sehr gut.Die Lautstärke ist mehrfach zu verstellen, für mich sehr wichtig, da ich Schwerhörig bin!Das Zifferblatt ist groß und deutlich lesbar , auch das ist für mich sehr sehr wichtig,da ist fast blind bin.Das gesamte Bedienungsfeld ist sehr übersichtlich und auch für Senioren (82 J.) leichtzu bedienen. Wunderbares Gerät.
