Works very well. I used these to do a 5 word phrase around the edge of a large glass bowl and they worked amazingly well. There are two full sets of letters so you don't have to split up doing words with double letters in them like if you only have one set of letters. I used some of the letters 3 times in rapid succession and even having barely had a chance to dry before they were used again, by the third usage the letters were still sticking without a problem. The stencil designs were incredibly well done by someone who knew how they would be used. The letters like "s" that have fine detail mostly separated from the bulk of the stencil have cross pieces that fit aesthetically with the script to reinforce the details so the stencils aren't so easily ruined by peeling them up.

Great product. Just read the instructions carefully. Leave the etching cream on for exactly 10 minutes and brush it around at the half way timer mark. Rinse under a light stream of warm tap water and peel off gently. Air dry letters on a paper towel and then put them back on the plastic sheet they were originally on. Be gentle and they will last forever. Also, gently rub them on the glass you want to etch thoroughly so they won't bleed underneath.

GREAT STENCILS

This makes etching easy, clean, and it goes quickly. I stick the letters on, paint with etching cream, rinse off, and place back onto the backing for next use. It doesn't get much easier than that. It's well worth the cost. I can't imagine cutting stencils out by hand to do this, as suggested on craft sites. If you don't own a cutter, you'll like the ease of this product and the reuseability factor.
