As someone who enjoys cooking and loves stuffed jalapenos, I eschew purchasing them and produce my own on a frequent basis. This corer is saving me an uncountable amount of prep time and I heartily endorse this tool. For giving your peppers a good ream, this device is a dream!

The blade of the straight zucchini corer feels nice and strong in spite of its thinness, although the place where it mounts to the handle does not feel like it'll last long. The scoopy pepper corer, on the other hand, is quite bendy. It also has a thick blade and blunt teeth, so it's clumsy to work with. It's more of a scraper than a cutter, great for when you've already cut your pepper open. Also, I don't know what kind of Jalapeños they grow in the part of the world where this is designed, but they must be monsters -- like Poblano sized! Somewhat useless on the smaller Jalapeños I grow.

Made purchase for taking out seeds in chipotle chilies. It seems it will do the job nicely, however have not had a chance to use yet.
