We accidentally turned off the breaker to our new refrigerator in our lake house. Two weeks later we arrived to a refrigerator full of rotten food and freezer meat. The smell was bad. After cleaning it inside and out, I left it empty and the door open for two additional weeks trying to get rid of the smell. During this time I purchased this product. Immediately upon opening them I was please with the smell. I placed one in the main area and one in the freezer. Left them another week and found they really worked well. I left them another week. I definitely recommend this project to remove unpleasant odors.

Purchased a used vehicle and it was clear the former owner was a heavy smoker. I used these and the smell went away. I did not love the scent but the lemon was substantially better than the smoke and I couldn't be happier as the smoke smell has never came back.

First, the packaging on the product page shows this in a dark jar with a dark lid and dark labelling that is at least reasonably attractive. Instead, it arrived as packaged in the photo I attached. It looks like something meant for a gas station bathroom. There's nowhere in my bathroom I can place it where it will not be visible. Also, if you look at the bottom of the container, it has sticky yellow residue even though the packaging appears not to have leaked. Next, it barely has any lemon scent. The overwhelming scent of it is eucalyptus, which I do not like and would not have purchased. Regardless, it doesn't put off much scent at all, so, in addition to being deliberately misrepresented, it is all but useless. It's not worth returning.

We have two if these in our kitchen and the family room that are one big room. You can smell it if you hold it and the smell is ok. Honestly I don’t think it’s done much to eliminate odors.

I got the lemon scent and when I first opened it there was a really strong lemon scent. I was worried that it would remain that strong, but it faded and has a very neutral/faint lemon scent. This does remove all unpleasant odors and leaves the room smelling clean. This is an objective view though, I don't like a lot of scents and get sick from all of the strong (aka chemical) laundry/house cleaning/soap scents. For me, a neutral scent - the smell of clean air- is preferred. Also, I have this in a 7x10 room. For a larger room, I imagine you would need more than one of these.

Pretty much covered up our faint cat smell. Definitely recommend getting the bigger version as the small ones only last a week or two. We have a lot of air movement in our cat room which probably dried it out sooner.

It’s almost odorless and yet it works to stop the cat litter box smells.
