Hi, i'm currently making a mug/smoking pipe combo out of polymer clay. would this be safe to use on it? i need a varnish that can be drunk out of.

Hello Jessie , have reread instructions and they advise to protect against heat and frost , so possibly this will not be suitable. My husband is a pipe person and I know would like a pic of your finished item . Good luck Margaret.

could this be used on cork placemats

i suppose so but i dont know if it would take heat,and it would need several coats depending on the texture of the cork.

I am not sure if it is toxic or not but it is definitely transparent! On the tag it sais that it contains chloromethylisothiazolone.

Does this work on baked polymer clay. So varnish after and let it air dry?

Yea my suggestion after you bake the polymer clay you can varnish I like to put double layer of varnish to be extra shiny. Enjoy
