The moment I took this mitt out of the packaging, it felt like something that had been made with care. One side has natural Egyptian loofah fibres with a firm, even texture, while the other side is a tightly woven cotton fabric that feels soft in the hand. The stitching is neat and reinforced, and the edges are finished cleanly to hold their shape. It also has a sturdy hanging loop, double stitched into the seam. Loofah side (firm texture): Works best for removing dead skin, improving circulation, and prepping the skin before applying moisturiser. It’s especially effective on tougher areas like elbows, knees, and feet. Cotton side (soft texture): Ideal for gentle exfoliation on sensitive areas or as a finishing step after the loofah side. Cleans without over scrubbing. The mitt measures about 20 cm by 15 cm, giving full palm coverage without feeling bulky. Like a lot of women I exfoliate occasionally but never as often as I should, I went on a spa day with my daughter and had a full body exfoliation which was wonderful and I decided then I'd make more of an effort. I have exfoliating gloves, back brush, loofah plus loads of body scrubs but none of them were rough enough to give the smooth finish I was after so I started looking and this mitt seemed ideal. This is fabulous if you're looking for a rough exfoliation, I wouldn't recommend using more than once a week and certainly never on the face but it gives excellent results and I'm so happy with it. #### UPDATE April 2017 I've had this loofah mitt for around 8 months now and I use it weekly and I still love it just as much as I did when I wrote my original review. It's like new, there's no splits and no smell like other reviewers are experiencing and when I've used it I just hang it in the shower to dry and then it's ready for the next time. Really good exfoliation and ease of use.

I bought this product 28 times over the years and the 28. was smelling so bad (like sheep) I had to throw away.

Happy with it. I have been using it for the last 2 weeks and it holds well at the moment. Personally I feel that it is not too harsh on the skin.

I am in love with my loofah! First time I've had one. (HOW have I never tried a loofah before??? Seriously!?) My skin has felt amazing since starting to use this loofah glove. Even though I have sensitive skin that gets irritated easily - my skin seems to LOVE this product. It's been better than ever, feels smoother, softer and calmer. I have always struggled with ingrown hairs on my legs from shaving etc - my skin has always been irritated, red, and itchy from shaving (despite having tried a million different shaving products) ... Since using this loofah, my skin has been thriving and all that irritation is gone. I honestly can't believe it. How much of a difference it's made. I'm very happy and will be purchasing again regularly from now on! I've taken one star off simply because the seams/stitching of the glove have started coming apart even though I've only used it half a dozen times or so. So the durability could be better.

This is my go-to loofa substitute and it never disappoints; leaves my skin feeling smooth every time.

When I started using it for the first time, I was very happy with how it was feeling. It felt like a proper scrub. But after the first minute of use I already noticed my finger was poking through the softer side of the mit. If a product does not even get through a single use without damage, I cannot help but feel dissatisfied.

Ça fait maintenant 3 mois que je l'utilise, tous les jours et de façon énergique, il ne s'est pas détérioré et a toujours son pouvoir exfoliant. C'est un gant de très bonne qualité. Je l'utilise pour le corps, mais également pour le visage, en remplacement d'une crème exfoliante, ça va plus vite même si la sensation rugueuse n'est pas très agréable, il affine et lisse la peau, débouche les pores et réduits les imperfections (vous avez le visage tout rouge après, mais ça passe vite). Le visage est tonique après, ça relance la circulation, la peau parait neuve. Il fut ensuite appliquer une crème hydratante et le résultat est sensationnel, mieux que tous les produits cosmétiques que j'ai pu tester. Vu l'utilisation que j'en fait de façon quotidienne, je trouve qu'il résiste vraiment bien (voir photo au bout de 3 mois d'utilisation )
