SUPCASE iPad 9.7 Case 2018/2017, [Unicorn Beetle PRO Series] Full-body Rugged Protective Case with Built-in Screen Protector (Black/Black)

This is my 2nd one of these Supcases, previous one was for the 3rd Gen iPad. My wife also has one for her iPhone SE.They are SUPERB. I have tried a bunch of the robust style cases including ones like the Otterbox Defender and Griffin Survivor and this is better than all of them, whilst managing to be cheaper!They fit perfectly. You must remember to fit the iPad into the SCREEN bit of the case first and then attach the back. It's a little bit of a faff but it has to be close fitting to work well. Once on it is absolutely spot on. No gaps or airgaps around the screen. Just perfect. But you probably wouldn't want to be putting it on and off the whole time.All the cutouts for the camera etc are all in the right place. The camera works well as does the touch ID etc. The little flaps for the headphone and charge sockets are a little fiddly and stiff to begin with but you want them to seal the holes, so its fine.This is the first one of these with a built in flick stand and I thought it would be a bit of a gimmick but actually i'm finding that I use it all the time. It only works in landscape mode, but its a good addition I think and when folded away is invisible.The only real downside to these cases is the weight. They do add quite a bit of weight, but for the complete protection, I think its totally worth it.Great product. Totally recommended.

Needed this case to protect my iPad which I use for work. I’m an electrician so use my iPad on site to complete certificates and document site visits etc therefor I was looking for a robust case but one that allowed me to use my iPad as normal and with the Apple Pencil. Really impressed with the case from the start. It was straight forward to fit in no time and fits perfectly allowing the pad to be used as normal. No hinderance to the camera or buttons and best if all the Apple Pencil works perfectly. I haven’t yet dropped it so can’t say what the protection level is like and forgive me but I’m not planning on a test to complete the review! That said it’s a substantial case and I feel confident it provides the protection I need. In addition to good protect it’s also lightweight. I would highly recommend.

Excellent quality, protective as required

This is a very sturdy case although the stand has just broken on ours so not hard wearing enough to stand up to a 5 and 3 year old! Still works perfectly well without the stand. The hole for the camera slightly obscures the iPad camera but unless you buy a genuine Apple case I believe that this would be the same for any case!

I’ve been using the case on my iPad for a couple of months now and it’s doing a great job of keeping the iPad safe. It fits well and is rugged. It’s been on a couple of flights with me and is exactly what I wanted from a caseIf I had one complaint it is that the pull-out stand on the back is REALLY stiff to release when it is clipped in place. I’m sure if I just took a file and trimmed off the latch a bit it would solve the issue but I’m sure it will probably just loosen up with use over time.

This case is tough. It has protected our iPad from over a years worth of abuse so far from a 1 and 3 year old. It has been dropped and splashed with liquids/foodstuffs with no problem. It’s in built screen cover is still sensitive enough for easy efficient use of the screen. The pop up stand at the back is useful for when it’s used as for playback of videos. The buttons of the iPad work seemlessly whilst covered by the thick rubber. The ultimate test for us though was when our iPad was accidentally left in the bottom of a pushchair and it was folded down and then placed into the hold of an aircraft. It protected it from no doubt being thrown around by Spanish and UK bag handlers! Ipad came out the other end without any issue! Yes it’s heavy...but it gives you confidence that it’s a quality product. Our kids have no problem handling it. Would recommended and definitely buy again.

Case is a good fit and very sturdy. Unfortunately the stand doesn't match the case and is easily broken.Shame such a good case has such a flimsy stand, for £25 I expected better.

I use my iPad whilst doing site survey on construction projects and found a robust case is an absolute must. This is a very good case for the money being easy to fit and giving protection against dust, moisture and impacts from dropping. The kick stand built in is handy if you use a keyboard with your iPad or if you want to watch videos on the train. The screen protector is built in but isnt the very best, however if you don’t like it you can always remove that element and substitute for another, it was fine for my needs
