Friday the 13th: The Game (Xbox One)

Honestly I’ve been playing this since it launched and I can’t put it down. Best played with friends. Hours of fun.

A good game not to say it doesn't have its problem because it does but they aren't big problems and now with the addition of offline play I don't need to worry about my internet being down or anything so if you like the films I recomend this if you have some good friends to play it with because if you can have friends play as well it is really fun

Bought this for my partner last year but we didn’t have a PS4 network membership so it wasn’t played with until he got one. It’s okay gameplay but not addictive

Played it once and never again. Boring repetetaive gameplay. Once the killer is even remotely close to you you may as well just quit. Shame really because I was very excited for this as the whole premise seemed like a really cool idea. Unfortunately that's all it was. A good idea poorly executed.

There is NOTHING bad to say about this game it has brought me hours of fun playing online with my friends. The game always results in different outcomes and that just makes it so much more fun. I would recommend this game to EVERYONE who would be interested cause it's totally worth it. Delivery came mabey a day or two late but wasn't more than that. Great game definitely buy!!

As a Friday The 13th fan I really wanted to like this game. There's no denying the developer's captured the films' locations very well, there's definitely a moment of panic when you see Jason coming towards you and playing as Jason is the highlight of the game, but it's the highlight of a bad game. Playing as the councillors, the vast majority of the game, is painfully dull. Enter a cabin, search through draws, repeat. That's it. Item placement is random so there's little skill required, just lots of luck. Team work, at least in public matches, is non existent so you're basically running around hoping Jason doesn't find you. If he does, there's little you can do about it, which I guess is true to the films, but not much fun when you're killed first and have to watch everyone else play out the match or forfeit your xp. The controls are unrefined to say the least, the animations are clunky and the whole thing quickly becomes repetitive. Sadly it all adds up to an arkward, dull game, albeit one full of nostalgia. It felt like it had so much potential but the end result just isn't very good.

Good game but can get boring after long sessions of gaming. Anyone who isnt the killer can stun lock the killer by repeatedly knocking them down. Game sometimes has long queue times and sometimes games are instantly found.
