Mueller 4581 Back Brace

Having had back problems for many years always wear a brace when gardening etc. and can the get on with the job required.Recently bought a new car pavement scooter for my husband and realised the main part when broken down to go in the car boot was pretty heavy.Did not want to put on my white brace in a car park as I felt it was too much looking like underwear so started looking for a black one which looks very acceptable to see someone putting on a belt to lift the scooter.The Mueller belt is great and I now use it all the time when required,it supports my back and I can get on with life doing the jobs required. Would recommend this to anyone who requires to llift any thing heavy and may irritate a back problem.Be wise and protect your back and buy this product. I am a ladies size 16 \ 18 and it fits perfectly. I think it might be small for a larger frame but it is made to a high standard,so take advice from the company.Amazon price is best I found.

Good fit, good stretch and good support. Bought an XL for my partner and he is probably 44+ waist. 2nd time of buying, the previous one lasted years so hopefully this will be the same.

Not a cure but a huge relief. Wish I discovered it a few years ago. Thanks Mueller and Amazon making it available at such reasonable prices.

I suffer cronic lower back pain. It irritates rather than disables normally but every now and again it becomes debilitating. This back brace is excellent when the pain becomes intense. Further, when doing tasks which can irritate my back, like driving, I put it on and it stops the pain getting worse. I can become uncomfortable and I've noticed that if I wear it for any length of time I have to be extra careful when lifting anything for some time after. I am pleased with my purchase but would have liked something a bit more rigid. Recommended for relief of pain but it is not a cure. EDITED TO ADD: I've had the support for well over a year now and now know when to put it on and when I can leave it off. It is very effective as a preventative method of back pain control. Certainly it has lowered the frequency and degree of sever pain I suffer. I graded the support as three stars originally but now have upped it to four. Still not a cure but it can not only relieve pain but control it as well.

This dual belt is brilliant if your backs done ij like mine. I've had a bad back for years and this little thing helps with that pain. I can stand up for as long as I like with little to no pain.

A really excellent product that provides all the support that those of us who suffer back problems need. Having tried many such braces over the years it is great to find a product that does what it says on the tin. The belt is deep and very easy to use but, make sure you fit it properly, I found that when using using it for golf if the brace was slightly low there was a tendency to dig into the groin when teeing up or bending to pick up the tee. All things being equal it is a very solid product that will bring relief to many back pain sufferers .

Don't waste your money buying the cheaper versions - they are useless. As someone with spinal stenosis, bulging disc and nerve impingement, this brace does relieve some discomfort, so is worth every penny. Tip: If you use the brace while doing any sort of training ie martial arts, cardio, running, weights and it gets sweaty, don't put it in the washing machine on a cool wash, without thinking like I did. There are metal strips which end up falling out. Hand wash instead. I bought a second one and like I said, it's worth every penny.
