Well made but basically the same as a regular bicycle spanner, but with a screwdriver. Expensive.
Pros: Well made and designed, like all Music Nomad products. A very handy tool. Cons: It is expensive and basically the same as a regular bicycle spanner which costs a couple of quid or so, this has a screwdriver bit too, but everybody owns a screwdriver.

MusicNomad The Octopus Guitar Tool
Very handy but not sure how long it will last when tightening the various nuts. Seems a bit soft.

Music Nomad Octopus 8.
Only fits certain guitar sizes, yes it has 8 tools, but only 2 fit my Bass guitar, very disappointed.

Bit expensive but necessary investment
I needed to get the plastic from underneath my new guitar's input jack off. Being plastic I was confident that this wouldn't scratch the surface. It did a great job, and very efficiently too.

DEVO DIRE CHE' UN TOOL ESSENZIALE PER CHI VUOLE RIPARARE O AVVITARE I BULLONI CHE SI TROVANO SULLA CHITARRA SI ACUSTICA CHE ELETTRICA NON FA DIFFERENZA POI E' MOLTO PRATICO HA DUE TIPI DI CACCIAVITI E SVARIATE CHIAVI CHE NATURALMENTE SONO COMPRESE INSOMMA COME SEMPRE LA MUSIC NOMAD SI COMPORTA MOLTO BENE SU QUESTO TIPO DI OGGETTI ED ALTRI CHE HA FATTO PER IL MANTENIMENTO OTTIMALE DELLO STRUMENTO....................

Excellent compact toolkit for guitar
Firstly, I ordered the Nomad 8 in 1 tech tool but was sent the 17 in 1 version, at no extra cost! It arrived sooner than expected. Really useful piece of equipment that I bought initially to tighten the nut on a Strat jack plate, but have also used for other things since. It works well and seems to be made of hard wearing material.

L’outil indispensable
Très pratiques et ultra compact, idéal pour faire un check-up rapide avant de jouer ( resserré l’embase jack, les mécaniques… ) bref il permet de faire des réglages de bases et essentiel, mais très pratique pour le coup 👍

Nice complete tool, engineered by a guitar guy and it shows
You could think it's a little expensive for a molded plastic handle and a double ended metal screw bit. But the concept and usefulness completely justifies the price. This tool was engineered by a guitar guy and it shows. It combines all the tools you will need to tinker on about any guitar: screw driver (flat and Phillips) along with assorted size hex wrenches (sizes: 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 1/2" & 7/16" + 1/2" narrow profile for tele cups and sunken pots). The construction of the hex wrenches that are molded into the ballistic nylon handle will prevent scratches to your guitar (and they will never get lost). EDIT: 10mm wrench stripped on first use swapping tuner pegs on a tele type guitar, so the ballistic nylon handle can't handle torque. Would have been better if the wrench were recessed metal in the ballistic nylon: this would have made a solid tool and I wouldn't have minded the extra bucks in order to get something that would have been truly bullet proof solid construction. I now ordered a separate 10mm deep socket and ratchet handle, this sucks.
