Every now and again you come across a product that is almost life changing.. This is it! They make connecting wires so quick and easy. To be able to solder wires together and shrink-wrap/seal them in an instant is amazing, you can also do this in very tight spaces where you may not be able to get access for a soldering iron. I will be buying more... many more!

Great item, works a treat. Solders, seals and waterproof all in one action

I bought these mainly out of curiosity as I often end up soldering wires together. These seem like the ideal solution and it turns out that they are!I've only used them once so far, repairing a set of outside solar string lights, but they worked brilliantly. Being outside and away from a power socket, I used an ordinary disposable lighter to heat the sleeving and melt the solder. Apart from having to shield it from the wind, it worked like a charm and the solder melted easily with heat from the flame. Time will tell if they keep out the weather, but so far so good.My only gripe would be the limited choice of sizes in the pack. Most of my repairs normally involve small gauge wires and having used 2, I only have 8 left of the smallest size. I doubt I'll ever use the larger ones, so maybe single packs of a particular size would be a better option. That said, I would definitely recommend having these in your toolbox.

Perfect. Bought these to do a permanent fix on some wiring on my van that someone had done a scotch lock bodge on. I even found out what the odd curly attachment on my heat gun was for watching a video on YouTube on how to use these. They are much better than crimp terminals so long as you can get a heat gun close enough. And easier than soldering and heat shrink in confined spaces (like under a van and in a tight engine bay in my case).

Using these to connect a boats bilge pump , soldered/shrunk using a gas soldering iron with no problems and no burning as long as you are careful with the heat.All wrapped in amalgam tape and sitting submerged in water with no problems , proper join with the solder connection and no potential issues with the heat shrink being damaged by crimping.Just the job

Very impressed. Worked really well with my Wagner heat gun Hero Arts Various Hero Arts Embossing Heat Gun  I use for heat shrinking. The photo is of a speaker cable that was repaired on my first attempt.

This is my second batch of these wire connectors. Fast and convenient method of joining wiring. Strong and waterproof seal. So far no issues.
