The media could not be loaded.  The white comb is very cheap and does not go through cats fur, the spiky brush could be better, others in the market has a button to push out the excess hair but this one doesn't.

Though too big for kittens, my two adult short hair cats love being brushed by the flat brush and it is extremely effective at deshedding them.I’ve used furninators in the past and found it only collected fur if you brush in a very specific direction and my cats did not enjoy it at all.I’ve used another flat brush that the cats enjoyed but didn’t collect much fur.

Wow.This set was bought for our new kitten however thought I'd try it out on our two older boys.One of them has a long coat and for some reason has really struggled with matted fur this year. Having tried every comb, specialist dematting tools and the infamous furminator with no real success and a very grumpy growling cat I had actually enquired at a local groomers who wanted £40-£67 to see him.Today I decided I'd try brushing him with the brush from this set just to see how it worked on him. Within 5 minutes of brushing I had worked 10 matts out of his fur with little discomfort shown. Several re-positions later I had very easily worked 20 matts from his fur!I am totally amazed. His is now smooth, shiny and wonderfully healthy.As for usage on a kitten, the brushes could do with being a little smaller, but otherwise still good.

A great kit for grooming as it gives you a good variety depending on the task at hand. We mainly use the bristle brush for our longhair kitten, but that's only because he tends to want to play with the comb since the teeth rattle slightly (they have a small amount of give to allow the comb to move over your cat without digging in or catching on shoulder blades etc). Haven't had to use the plastic comb yet, but if he does manage to get fleas at any point it looks like it will be the perfect way to keep his fur clear. All in all a great range for the price.

The product seems well made and robust but is too big for our kittens. They are 14 weeks old and quite a large breed but the brush and comb are bigger then their heads and wider than the width of the tummy. I can’t get it under their chins where they have a lovely matted beard from leaning over their food bowls! I do think the products will be good when they are older but I will now need to buy a smaller brush to use, maybe for the next year.
