BT 4-Tone Loud Indoor Ringer – Easy Plug In & Use - Tonecaller II Loud Extension

Great device. Bought this for an elderly friend, she could never hear the phone. Plugged the device into a spare phone socket in the hallway and she is now able to hear it in all rooms.

Our phone is in an upstairs living-room and we needed a ringer downstairs so we could hear when there were incoming calls. This is a compact ringer which can be either fitted to the wall or propped against something. There are different settings for volume and tone. It plugs into a spare phone socket - or you can get a splitter - and needs no other power. My wife and I, who both have hearing problems, are both very pleased.

Not bad but nowhere near loud enough for me. I expected more considering these types of device have been around a long time.

Liked the fact it was a BT product, the downside it isn’t as loud as they say it is, does a job but you can’t hear it all round the house especially the kitchen.

Some trouble getting this to work with a Virgin Cable telephone line. Needed an engineer visit and in the end he fitted a new master socket which increased the power sufficiently to operate the ringer. As others have said it is not exceptionally loud - but does provide a boost on top of the ring from a digital handset.

Easy fit unit, we have about 30 of these installed in shops across our estates area for helping staff hear the phones. Obviously we don't have an issue with wires on show as it all runs above drop ceilings so that's something to consider when purchasing for home. Loud enough for a convenience store sized property.

Purchased on recommendation after missing a number of phone calls due to a mild hearing issue, this indoor ringer simply plugs into an existing phone socket or via a signal splitter. Most households allow 4 REN to be used on a single phoneline, so as a phone typically = 1 REN you can have up to four around the house. This device also uses 1 REN, so make sure you aren't exceeding that allowance before purchase. There are two dials on the device, one to adjust volume, the other to select one of four preset rings at different pitches, simply select position 1-4 to choose the ring that best suits you. I can see two purposes for this device, either the louder ring I require or to plug in to a socket in another room to alert that the phone is ringing elsewhere in the house or, for instance whilst out in the garden. It's certainly loud enough to provide an alert for me as I no longer miss calls.

We bought this product for amplifying the telephone ring tone. It works perfectly and we are very pleased with it.

Lo mejor es que se conecta a una toma RJ11 (Roseta telefonica 2/4 Hilos) no al telefono, es independiente y suena muy fuerte ideal para personas mayones.Inconveniente es que viene con toma telefonica de UK, hay que cortarla y poner una RJ11 de españa.Los hilos que se usan en UK son 1,3 en España 2,3 y hay que tenerlo en cuenta a la hora de crimpar/grimpar el nuevo RJ11 usar el amarillo y el rojo en la posisicon 2,3 es sencillo si se dispone del utensilio/crimpadora.

Funktioniert nicht in Österreich. Finger weg ist ein UK Anschluss. Steht so nicht in der Produktbeschreibung. Auf keinen Fall diesen China Müll kaufen.

Passt in Deutschland nicht. Hätte man in der Beschreibung darauf hinweisen können. Na ja werde mal versuchen etwas zu löten.
