This Fender Frontman 10G is a great little amp for practice!
The packaging was simple and efficient, with the amp well-protected inside the box. Delivery was quick and easy, and the amp arrived in perfect condition. At first glance, this amp looks the part. It's got that classic Fender style, with a black control panel and silver grille cloth. It feels solid and well-built, and the knobs and switches have a nice, smooth action. As for the sound, this amp delivers! It's got a clean tone that's perfect for practicing, and the overdrive channel adds some nice grit when you need it. The 10 watts of power is plenty loud for home use, and the headphone jack lets you practice in silence. Overall, I'm really impressed with the Fender Frontman 10G. It's a great little amp for beginners or anyone who needs a portable practice solution. It's affordable, sounds great, and looks the part. Highly recommended!

Just what You Most Need
This is a welcome addition to anyone who is serious about playing guitar, amatures, inbetweeners or professionals alike. It is compact and sturdy in size and retains all the qualities of its bigger brothers and sisters, and I know that if I searched every musical establishment in the universe I would not find better. It is everything and more than what you would expect from an amplifier at the price with its 8" speaker and 20 watts output, it will pack a punch, and live up to its reputation. for those that desire that clean cut Nashville Sound, or the mad rockers and Rolling Stone fans, who love the screaming tones, you will be equally impressed, as it has two independent channels which are set separately with a selector switch and a gain control to produce the necessary distorsion. I first plugged in my guitar just a day after arrival and it brings my Telecaster Custom to life like I was performing in a recording studio, and the sound does not in any way divert from the higher end of expensive amps on the market. This is a little gem that you will enjoy, from playing at home, to a jam session or in a recording studio. At such a modest price it is almost unbelievable, and far outweighs and exceeds the expectations of amp at the price. I am thankful that I am still able to retain my playing skills in my retirement years. I am both happy and fortunate that I was enabled to purchase this little beauty which is just tailor made and satisfying to my needs, on an offer from the amazon daily sales . Hoping all your dreams come through, Cheers!

Cool little amp
Years ago I owned a "proper" Fender performance amp (a Princeton 112plus) but at 65w it was for gigs only really, I couldn't get it above 1 in the house without waking up the neighbours. I sold it on when I quit gigging regularly. Out of the blue an old mate asked me to take part in an all guitar group performance and I said "but I don't have an amp anymore!" - so I found this one at a decent price. I wanted a really simple plug in and play amp - no onboard effects or simulations ta!It has a remarkably similar bright 'Fender' tone to my old Princeton, which was also solid state (not expecting vintage tube amp sounds at this price!). It's pretty loud although I'm not sure if it could compete with a drum kit but for my purposes it's been plenty. The gain channel is a bit cheesy for me full on, but that's not really my tone and if you do play with a lot of gain you probably have a pedal you prefer anyway. I found with a just a little gain I can get a nice bluesy bite with single coils. I guess this bright, twangy Fender sound probably isn't for everyone. It looks the business with the exact looks of bigger Fender amps. Seems really solidly built and the controls and knobs feel decent.Drawbacks - a daft one: but it's solid back so you can't stash your lead, tuner etc in the back. If it had a spring reverb built it in you could really get some of those authentic fender sounds. Kettle lead rather than integrated mains cable which can get lost if you're gigging (and you can't stuff it in the back of the amp), although they're not hard to replace. Headphone and aux in are handy for practice but a line out that didn't disable the speaker would be a bonus.

An excellent practice amp.
This amp has a nice, clean sound when the Gain button is not used. An ideal practice amp. It has more than enough volume (kick) so be nice to your neighbours and use headphones! Joking aside, this amp has a lovely sound and should fulfil any beginners needs. The Gain button gives you a nice gritty distortion and is ideal for rock/metal etc while clean is ideal for pop/disco or picking if using acoustic guitars.
