Sennheiser RS165 Vibrant Sound Wireless Headphones

So, I got this back in January 2016 to replace my Thomson WHP3001BK Radio UHF Wireless Headphones (which were working fine, but those were radio, and also they weren't the most comfortable ones in the world)Moving to these was a *massive* difference in many positive ways.Great things:First of all, they're very comfortable, albeit a little heavier but I got used to this incredibly quickly. I put these on when I wake up, and I only take them off when I go out, have a shower, or go to bed, and over these past 2 years, I've had them on for more 16 hours a day. Very comfortable. I have a stonking great noggin so it's great to know that these fit nicely.Second, they are *very* durable! I am a big, lumbering, clumsy oaf - I'm constantly walking into doors, hitting my head of things, and these have been smashed into so many things, dropped onto hard surface floors, and all sorts, and they're still sounding great! Work perfectly fine (though there's a tiny tad of cracking on some parts of the housing, but that's my fault)Third, they sound quite nice, and go loud enough to use as speakers if I wanted to use them for that (I wouldn't recommend doing it as it'll probably do damage after a while, but if I wanted to let someone know what I was listening to, I would just turn up the volume a bit and they could hear if they wwere next to me). I'm no audiophile though, so I can't comment on accuracy and what-not. Music, films, games, and all that sort of stuff sound great through these, though.Fourth, I'm a little bit sensitive to sound, I don't like loud noises. These are great at taking the edge off of loud noises without having to bust out the ear defenders. No where near as good, but if I'm hoovering, or using a blender or whatever, these work quite well at stopping the pain. I wouldn't call them noise cancelling, though.Not so great:The range isn't as good as the Thomson pair. When I was in my parent's house, I would have to position the base station in a specific way to be able to hear things while on the toilet or in the kitchen, but everywhere else in the house was more or less fine. In my house, I bought a really long 3.5mm cable so I could move the base station to a slightly more central position in the house so I can hear things from pretty much anywhere. I don't live in a massive house, but it can go through 2-3 walls not too badly.Things to consider:I have had to replace the batteries since getting them, the batteries that this came with went bad back in December 2018 (the charge wouldn't even hold for 10 hours anymore), so I replaced them with a pair of High capacity rechargeable AAA ones I bought online which have worked absolutely spectacularly. I've managed to get 22 hour days out of these (though that was helped due to the auto-power-off thing if there's no sound for a bit), it's great!The ear foam pad thingies lost their smooth covering after a couple years (it's a kind of fabricy stuff underneath, like a felt or something I don't know, but it was still fine to use for a few more years), and one of the times I dropped the headphones, one of the clips on the pads broke, but I was able to buy a generic replacement pair online for reasonably cheap, and they feel just as comfortable as ever!One of the head foam pad spacer thingies fell off a couple weeks ago, but a bit of double sided tape sorted that right quick!The metal contacts need to be rubbed clean every now and again because it can get a little bit yucky sometimesFinal thoughts:People always comment that they'll need to surgically remove these from my head, I wear them more often than I'm not wearing them, have had multiple naps while wearing them, and done all sorts with them. They're really good, and I recommend them to everyone if they want a solid pair of headphones for their computer or their TV or whatever (I use them for the computer). They're great, I love them, I wish they were a tad cheaper though.

Have had these for about 4 months and I brought them for use with a new TV as my hearing is worse than my wife's and she hates the volume loud. So I have used these almost every single day for several hours at a time, more at weekends and I find them really good. Some people have said they feel these are to tight, I don't think they are, would simply describe them as "snug". I would rate my head size as "average to slightly above average". The shape of the cups (sort of a "D" shape) means they cover the entire ear and so block out external sound very well. The large and easy accessible volume controls work well. The base unit sits behind my TV out of site, and I simply drop the headphones on them when not in use. Putting them onto the base unit is very easy and not at all fiddly. I am no audiophile so cannot really comment on the sound other than to say from my perspective, its "good", very, very occasionally, if there is no noise at all from the TV program, I can hear a slight hiss, but as soon as any sound comes from the TV, I cannot hear the hissing at all

These are very good headphones and typical Sennheiser quality. Build quality is good and the unit is attractive. I'm glad it comes with AAA's as at least I can stick in a spare pair in case of emergency power loss or replace them when they get old. They are very comfortable and just seem to 'fit'. Despite looking like ear defenders they are very light and comfortable. Sound is excellent you wouldn't know they're wireless. I have had a few pairs of Sennheisers and an award winning pair of AKG's and these are up there quality wise. Whether for TV/Film or for music, they are detailed, clear and have a good open sound. The volume adjustment and bass boost on the unit is an absolute godsend of a feature so you can 'tweak' the sound and volume wherever you are.Being wire free is very liberating, I didn't realise how tied I was with my old wired headphones; constantly dodging furniture, contorting my body and tripping over the wire. Now for the (slight) downside, the range. I had seen previous reviews of 5-6 metres being the 'actual' range and that seems to be about right. I live in a smallish flat and range starts to cut out in the bedroom (about 7-10 metres away with some walls/doors), but certainly in the lounge (12ftsq) , and adjoining kitchen (12ftx5ft - which has a thick wall and door) its absolutely crystal clear and, to be fair, was what I bought them for really but faultless signal in the bedroom would have been nice.All in all very pleased. Price is competitive and Prime delivery was 1st class. This was my 1st venture into Prime and can't believe I ordered them last night and they were here by 10.30 on a Sunday morning!!

Wir nutzen das Set (Station plus 2 Kopfhörer), um zu zweit fernsehen zu können, ohne dass dabei unsere Kinder aufwachen.Nach einem halben Jahr sind wir immer noch begeistert: Die Einrichtung war simpel, und das System hat sofort funktioniert. Die Kopfhörer sitzen komfortabel und lassen sich so einstellen, wie man es individuell möchte. An den Ohren bildet sich kein Schweiß. Der Klang ist satt und glasklar, oft versteht man die Dialoge so besser als über die Fernseh-Lautsprecher. Die Akkus halten (bis jetzt) lange durch und müssen nur von Zeit zu Zeit geladen werden, was dank der Sende-/Ladestation völlig unkompliziert ist. Fazit: Alle Ansprüche erfüllt.

Simplemente geniales, el uso sencillo, facil e intuitivo, los usamos para escuchar tele por las noches sin molestar, su encendido se hace desde el propio auricular, el cual apenas pesa, para tratarse de unos auriculares inalambricos. Tengamos en cuenta que su entrada es analógica (MiniJack o RCA) con lo cual no podremos conectarlo a algunos modelos de televisor modernos que su única salida la trabajan en digital.*VENTAJAS:- Auricualres inalambricos de un peso bastante reducido, calidad marca Sennheiser- Usa 2 pilas recargables (incluidas) en lugar de baterías, lo que nos evitara encontrar repuestos el día de mañana- Encendido de la base y el auricular desde un solo botón ubicado en el propio auricular- Podemos cambiar el volumen desde el mismo auricular- Sonido totalmente limpio y sin interferencias por tener tecnología 2,4Ghz en lugar de RF- Las pilas duran bastante tiempo, aproximadamente unas 5 a 6 horas*DESVENTAJAS:- Solamente entrada de audio analógica, no podemos tener entrada digital directa.- Alcance aproximado de 30m según el manual, pero en una casa en cuanto pasas un muro ya puedes empezar a tener problemas. Premessa... ho cambiato la recensione dopo un mese di utilizzo.!!!! NON COMPRATE QUESTE CUFFIE PER LA DISTANZA, MA COMPRATELE PER IL SUONO!!!!!..... Purtroppo queste cuffie non funzionano benissimo a distanza ( danno problemi già quando si cambia stanza)... Per il resto,Le cuffie sono molto buone sia come comodità che come qualità del suono. Io le uso per ascoltare musica e guardare film dal pc.il pregio é che nonostante siano wireless non presentano sfasamento audio rispetto all'immagine ed hanno un suono molto dettagliato, ogni frequenza é riprodda in modo ottimo, soprattutto quelle basse.C'è anche la possibilità di attivare l'ultra bass, ma al 90% della musica non serve visto che il suono é già equilibrato benissimo. ( E rischia solo di distorcere il suono a causa dei bassi troppo forti)Un'altro pregio di questo modello è che la batteria nonostante siano le più economiche durano a lungo.Prodotto super consigliato, cuffie comode, audio Sennheiser (marchio molto alto nell'ambito delle cuffie )

何より、内臓バッテリーでないことを重視。バッテリー内蔵型で結局バッテリーが弱り、本体価格とそう変わらない交換料を請求されたので、この点が第一です。結果的に選択肢が限られますが、Panaのものはフレームが折れ、最新モデルはさらに弱そうなので、結果こちらに落ち着きました。音質は価格帯を考えれば申し分なし、イヤーパットのみの交換も可能な構成になっているのでとても良い買い物だと思いました。

I find these headphones to be magnificent. The sound is as clear as a bell. Great for films or music. Fantastic range and the Bass Boost gives it an earthy bottom end. Hits every note from design, to comfort on your head to sublime sound quality. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!
