GREAT FOR VR
I got this card early January of 2020 since i had recently decided to buy my self a rift S in the Christmas sales, my current 1060 3gb card was struggling to keep up even just in oculus home! i have a I7 extrema processor so i knew that was not the issue, when in VR my GPU was at 100% while my CPU was sitting at a cool 15% usage haha! so i took to the pages of amazon in search of a good, fair priced GPU since christmas had wiped me out of all spare cash! then i stumbled upon the rage of AMD GPU's! i have always been weary over AMD due to the stories people tell me about in compatibility and much slower speeds than nvidia, but it seemed like my only choice due to my sub £250 budget, i was sceptical while buying this worried that i would just have to send it back. but one faithful morning this beauty showed up at my door and i was thoroughly impressed, the packaging was very nice and the card its self looked up to standard. i swapped out my 1060 and put this lovely RX580 8gb in its place (obviously wrapping up my 1060 and placing it back in its box since i was still sceptical) and i then booted up my machine, everything was looking good, it worked first time, and it installed all the drivers it needed! after about a hour and a few restarts i was ready to give it a shot! i opened up steam VR and ran Arizona sunshine and WOW! i could run it on ultra settings at120Fps! i was shocked! it ran SO smoothly, no matter what game i threw at it i would run it without issues! no longer did i need to sit there for 10 mins adjusting the graphic settings on EVERY game i played hoping that it would just run. this card was WELL worth the £220 i paied for it, its proformas was amazing. its still keeping me going to this day! it ran Half Life-Alyx like a dream on medium settings with little Fps drops! i would recommend this card to ANYONE that needs a upgrade on a budget!

Good, reliable GPU
Had this card for two years and had no problems with it thus far. the noise level is fine unless under intensive load but wouldn't effect a headphone wearer. is the perfect starting level gpu for anyone who wants to start pc gaming at a lower price

Good for the price, but very noisy.
I've had this GPU for a month and a half. Whilst for gaming purposes this definitely delivers, it sounds like a bloody jet engine in certain games. The main games I am currently playing on this are GTA5, PUBG, SWBF2 (2017), Fallout 4, Overwatch and WoW Classic. In all of them apart from GTA this GPU can exceed noise levels that I deem acceptable. You can hear this thing from the other room, and looking back I would have rather saved a bit more money to get a GPU with a better cooler. I would like to make this very clear, this cooler is not fit for purpose. The temperatures have never exceeded 90C, the highest being 86C on PUBG at Ultra settings. It sounds like it is screaming from inside my case sometimes. In terms of overclocking, I managed to get 1460MHz base clock and 2065Mhz Mem clock so far (intending to increase mem).Overall, if you are looking for a GPU that can smash games for a budget price, if you don't mind the noise then get it. For the money that I spent on it I was willing to make sacrifices back then, but am regretting it now.

Best (and only) GPU I've owned (2019 - 2020)
I've had this for about a year now. Before I got it I was using built in graphics. The screen tearing was too much to get anywhere in games so I got this. It was easy to install (once I took my case apart) and set up the drivers/softwares. Don't do what I done and run this with a 500W PSU, it's not powerful enough and your system will show the death screen. As soon as I got a 850W PSU I was able to play games on the highest quallity settings. Every day I find a new feature with this GPU. A new software, settings, functions and even an app that allows you to view stats from Android device! With the fans on full power, it is loud enough to wake next door's dog and drove them mad. Default fan settings work fine for me. Unable to review color quallity as I can't actually see color, but my mom told me the color looks great. If anything changes I may edit this review, I recommend getting this!

Brilliant
Fantastic card! Definitely the best value for money card on the market for gaming at 1080p right now. Happily plays all my games at highest settings and looks great. Yes it can be a little loud once the fans kick in, not enough to cause annoyance or distraction but I did notice that it seemed a little louder than what I previously had installed. Highly recommend this card.

Works on 2012 Mac but buy a power cable as well
Installed this in a 2012 Mac Pro as it’s recommended by Apple as being Metal compatible. I have been able to install OSX 10.14 Mojave. You need to buy a dual 6 pin to 8 pin power lead from another supplier as there are no cables supplied. At the time of writing, the Amazon listing states “includes cables” but apparently this is an error. This is the only graphics card I’ve ever bought so maybe it’s usual for them to be supplied without cables. The single cable already in the Mac cannot supply the current this card requires, hence the need for the y-cable to take power from two sockets on the logic board for the card. With these high power requirements, I was expecting the card to sound like a hovercraft but as I’m only running Logic on a single monitor, it is no louder than the card it replaced. This card can run 5 displays and probably gets noisier then.Aside from the minor issue of needing to buy a power lead (which may well have been down to my ignorance) the supplier was great, delivery was fast, the card works well and now I can run Logic 10.5.

Good value for the money.
This card is amazing. I am using it with ryzen 3 1200 quad core cpu and every latest title i played at 60fps with most of them With ultra settings. Gears of war 4 with avg 60fps 1080p ultra settings, shadow of tomb raider 1080p avg 60 fps. I can get more frame and better performance once i update my cpu to ryzen 7 2700x. Very good price for 8gb card and performance.Make sure u have 8 pin connecter before u purchase this card.
