Bought this gate as we have narrow stairs. Works on bottom of the stairs but doesn’t quite line up properly at the top of the stairs if we wanted to buy a second, to no fault of the product. Definitely needs two people to install it ensure it’s lined up correctly as we were missing the paper template from our package. We bought to stop our dog going upstairs. Seems sturdy and no issues down the line but can’t comment on if this is suitable for young children. Easy to open, looks nicer than the white plastic looking ones.

i bought this expecially as the standard baby gates were a little too narrow for my door frame but this has loads of expansion. Very easy to install. They include a strip of paper with a diagram of the fittings in place so you know where to mark the wall and dont have to measure (which is helpful!). Also easy to open (for a human) most of my friends figured it out without being shown, there's always one though! The gate looks very smart and is going nowhere even as my puppy grows and throws himself around. I would recommend

The instructions are rubbish , but when you install this it is great quality and fits any space as you can adjust the width easy to open and close and because you secure it directly to the frame with screws it’s much safer than others that I have tried

Whilst the gate itself is of great quality the dimensions of the product received were totally wrong. We needed a taller gate to stop our dog climbing over so bought this as it's supposed to be 103cm. However, on unpacking we found it to be just 70cm tall. Ordered a replacement just in case the wrong item was shipped, and again the same product arrived. Don't waste your time with this one if you need a tall gate!

The fact we needed a gate quickly so obviously with Amazon prime I purchased this gate. Was a fair price and looked easy to fit. However when installing I found only 2 holes had been pre drilled for the screws. Luckily I had a drill bit to suit. Can't return it for refund as it is being used. Shame there isn't another option for this faulty product like a part refund.

Can't recommend this product enough. It came with easy to follow instructions and all the necessary parts (I know, but most don't!). It's doing a great job of containing my 2 naughty dogs and stopping them from looting the bedrooms! Would definitely recommend this product. It's good quality, quite like the black colour too, it blends in well when the gate is pinned back.
