I want a tray to use in an outdoor run. Is the cover rainproof?

as it stands no as there is a filter on the top that you also lift up to empty it when you don't want to completely empty it

It comes with one filter, from what I no you can get at least 4 months out of the current filter, after two months just turn it, from what I've read online about it, no bags though.You can buy the filters easy enough. If you use Trixie Litter tray bags, XL: up to 56 × 71 cm, 10 pcs - 4051, they will fit this. Our cat loves hers, she loves having a good old dig about in it. It has cut down on the smell so much thankfully lol.

what depth are the tray sides?

6.5" (14mm) at the front & slopes up to 9.5" (24mm) at the back. Hope that helps~ Mike

Is this suitable for large cats? and also is this a genuine catit box ?as it says catit style in the heading

Hi, I have bought this and I have 2 medium sized kittens and 1 large older cat, (she is a 14 year old tall, plump bellied cat and she still has room in it.) It has stickers and labels on from CATIT. This is my second buy of one of these litter boxes. I will be buying again when my 2 needs replacing. Hope this helps.
