Please see my photos We have been using these for a number of years now, that is myself and my wife. In the past we had used an ascorbic acid type, synthetic form of Vitamin C, but we had certain digestive and other issues associate with its use. We then noted these ester form of Vitamin C. Complete with natural bioflavonoids. As a bonus they are vegan friendly, non GMO and are gluten free. The last ones of these we bought has been in October 2024, the time of this review, and they have an expiry of Jan 2027. Again, see photo please. The darkened bottle, not sure if these could be light sensitive but always good to keep in a darkened bottle and place of storage, has a simple to open screw lid. Important if you struggle to open certain lids, this one is easy. The capsules themselves, noted size in a photo, are , for me, ok to take. My wife though can struggle with certain tablets or capsules. Sadly these seem to stick a little for her. Now she prefers to take them with a small mouthful of water at the same time as placing one in her mouth, that seems to help. My wife would have some digestive issues with previous Vitamin C's, with these she tolerates them well. Being non-acidic they cause me absolutely no issues with reflux. In the past I have had some very real issues with LPR and would avoid so many acidic type foods, drinks and supplements. I am absolutely fine with these. If you take a look at one of the photos it notes that you can take 1 to 3 daily, preferably with food. I get the point of taking with food, even though Vitamin C is water soluble, but personally I would not take that amount of Vitamin C daily in normal use for a prolonged period. We have found that if taking more than one a day it can lead, for us, to compromising our digestion, in various ways. BUT, see photo, their own advert states to take 1 capsule twice a day. AND one capsule, by their reckoning, contains 556% of your DV, daily value. Just please be cautious of the amount you take. We prefer to take one capsule every few days, that is based on having a reasonably balanced diet and a personal understanding of what would be appropriate during periods of good health with no colds etc...... If we have a bad cold or feel otherwise compromised we may well increase that dose for that period. That is tolerated fine. It also offsets the rather expensive cost of these. Please see my final photo, these capsules are made from... Capsule Shell: hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose ....the 500mg of these do not seem to be made using bovine as a source of gelatin. We both recommend these, just find your own daily dosage with a certain caution in mind. I hope this review has been helpful.
