Stephenson Melt and Pour Soap Base White SLS FREE - 2Kg

This is the third time we ordered this white chrystal soap base and we are absolutely delighted with this product. We make our own soap and this is a perfect base for that. The quality is outstanding, easy to cut and it melts very well and smoothly. We add various essential oils to it depending on the purpose (hand wash, shower or even using it as a shampoo). The essential oils dissolve in the base evenly and the soap smells fantastic. You can use it without essential oils of course. The soaps made from the base feel smooth, soft and silky, like other supreme high street products. They don't dry your skin. Using a soap mould you can make up to 20-22 soaps from the 2 kg base. The whole process doesn't take longer than five minutes. Making your own soap is very environment friendly as well, as there's no packaging, so you can reduce your waste. We highly recommend this product if you are interested in making your own soap.

This melt and pour soap base is super easy to use, you can just cut up what you need and then stick it in a glass bowl and put it in the microwave and it will melt nicely! Try and only heat it up in 30 sec increments and stir in between sessions to get the best result, so you don't overheat and have it boil out of the bowl! I added soap coloring and scent to my soaps and it turned out really well. Tip: you have to work with the hot soap quickly and spray rubbing alcohol on top to get rid of the bubbles on top! Also, one thing to note is that afterwards the soap does sweat if you have a warm room, but all melt and pour soaps do this, so you should always try and put cling film over the soaps, or shrink wrap them to prevent the soaps from air.

The product arrived in good time and was well packed. I used this to make coffee soaps and was very happy with the results. However, I did add a lot of ingredients, so I cannot say what the product would be like if it was simply scented or coloured. Using the product at a 4 to 1 ratio with coconut oil and almond oil made for a very moisturising soap, had I added more oil I don't think it would lather particularly well though. I also used a huge quantity of coffee grounds, which have given the soap it's colour and fragrance. The finished soaps sliced nicely and have been very popular with my friends. The product took a lot longer to melt than I expected, but it wasn't really a problem. Also, when melted it took on a slightly fishy aroma. Fortunately, this disappeared when the soaps set.

I've been using this soap for the past 3 and half years now and I could only say that it has been a lifesaver. I got Eczema after I used to use normal soaps and shower gels. They really dried my skin up in the long term, especially on my face. And I ended up with dry, itchy and flaky skin on my arms, neck and face. After looking for so long on something to clean my body whilst being kind to my skin, I found this. I was a bit skeptical at first as it was my first time seeing soap in a container. But, after using it in the shower, my skin felt good and wasn't raw like after when using usual soaps and shower gels. Fast forward three and half years, I couldn't be more thankful for finding this soap. I even recommended it to my driving instructor whose grandson had Eczema. He told me that his grandson's skin found it better than the usual products too. Tip: I used to cut the soap into cubes and then put a single cube into my soap dish. After using this for so long, I found that this method of "cube cutting" and using each cube individually actually dries it out after a while. Meaning that after using the cube of soap multiple times, it stops lathering well on a face towel. For best results, I found leaving the soap in the container keeps it moist and it lathers much better and consistently. Thanks I highly recommend for those suffering form dry skin and eczema.

Good quality

This soap is great. It's no fuss to make your own designs. The base doesn't smell so you can add any scent that you fancy. It takes colour well. I have found that microwaving it to melt in short bursts works well to prevent bubbles. This means soap making is fast, which is great when you don't have the time or space to use the traditional method. The soap made isn't too foamy (foams better with warm water) but it does feel pleasant on the hands and cleans well.

The smell is very potent, mixed it with coffe and mint but the bases smell overpowers them both. Not a bad smell just weird

Salut tout le monde ! Je voulais partager mon avis sur la base pour savon que j'ai récemment achetée. Cette base pour savon est géniale ! Elle est arrivée en parfait état et la livraison a été super rapide. J'ai pu commencer à fabriquer mes propres savons en un rien de temps. La base pour savon est très facile à utiliser. Il suffit de la faire fondre, d'ajouter les ingrédients et les parfums de votre choix, puis de la verser dans les moules. C'est un jeu d'enfant ! La qualité de cette base pour savon est vraiment bonne. Une fois solidifiée, elle donne des savons solides et durables. Ils moussent bien et laissent ma peau propre et douce. J'adore l'idée de pouvoir personnaliser mes savons. J'ai ajouté des huiles essentielles, des fleurs séchées et même des paillettes pour les rendre encore plus spéciaux. C'est une activité amusante et créative. Je recommande vivement cette base pour savon à toutes les filles qui souhaitent essayer de fabriquer leurs propres savons. C'est un produit de qualité, facile à utiliser et qui vous permet de laisser libre cours à votre créativité. En conclusion, la base pour savon que j'ai achetée est en parfait état et la livraison a été rapide. C'est un produit pratique et de bonne qualité. Si vous voulez vous lancer dans la fabrication de savons faits maison, ne cherchez pas plus loin !
